Two-time ACM New Female Vocalist of The Year nominee RaeLynn adds to her long list of achievements beyond her career as a singer and songwriter with the announcement of her unreleased children’s book, due July 17.

The star partnered with Brave Books to bring the book, “Raisin’ Me a Country Girl,” whose name yielded from RaeLynn’s hit song of the same title, to life. The highly anticipated book shares the adventures of a young country girl who unapologetically embraces her country roots.

Raisin’ Me A Country Girl Book

“Raisin’ Me a Country Girl” follows Daisy, a sundress-wearing and pink jeep-driving girl who cherishes her Pup Pup and doesn’t shy away from a little mud. When Pup Pup escapes one day, Daisy goes on a hunt to find the pet alongside her farm friends.

While searching for Pup Pup in her jeep, she overcomes various obstacles, which she faces head on with no hesitation. Her messy adventure ruins Daisy’s new blue dress, but the story comes to a happy resolution as her mother realizes that she was just like her daughter when she was little.

“Encourage Kids To Be Kids Again”

The nostalgic tale, paired with classic illustrations, takes readers on a journey to the “good ole days” where children spent their time outside, embarking on imaginative adventures with their friends. RaeLynn hopes to “encourage kids to be kids again,” according to a release, as a recent study by OnePoll found that a whopping 57% of parents surveyed fear that their children don’t play outside enough.

“When writing this book, I kept remembering how much fun it was to play outside for hours and use my imagination,” explained RaeLynn. “I wanted to convey the message that allowing kids to be kids by letting them explore might get a little crazy and dirty but at the end of the day is freeing.”

“Raisin’ Me a Country Girl” and other BRAVE Books inspire kids to not be afraid of getting dirty, playing and using their imagination, all while teaching readers valuable lessons and morals. Preorder RaeLynn’s book now at RaeLynnsbook.com.

New Music

While the “Queens Don’t” singer took a short pause in her career following the birth of her baby girl, Daisy, she is now back full force and ready to share new music with her fans. RaeLynn recently shared two tracks from her upcoming album, Funny Girl: “What’s Wrong With That” and “Broken One,” which serve as part II to “Triangle” from her Wildhorse album.

“The idea behind this song stemmed from thinking about life after being raised in a divorced home,” RaeLynn shared of “Broken One” in a statement. “What happens after the ‘Love Triangle’? That’s ‘Broken One’– finding a love that can break a cycle. I truly believe that God can fix, heal and restore [and] I have so many friends that grew up like me and found an everlasting love… I love the realness of this song [and] I teased it in December ’22, and fans shared it over and over– I knew we had something special.”

Fans can stream Funny Girl following its release in August of 2023.
