Priscilla Block took over the stage in front of a near-capacity crowd on Tuesday, (February 18) night as part of Country Now Live at 6th & Peabody. Treating fans at the Nashville event, which raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Block delivered a host of songs, including fan favorites, cover tunes, and never-before-heard music.
Priscilla Block Teases Unreleased New Song, “I Couldn’t Care Less”
The country singer/songwriter silenced the packed house before performing an unreleased new song called, “I Couldn’t Care Less.” Taking a moment to share the real emotions she had felt over the past two years, she set the record straight, explaining that just as any other human, she has been faced with moments of insecurities and self-doubt.
“People always say, ‘Priscilla, I love how confident you are, and I love how unapologetically you are,’” Block noted. “And I kind of just got to thinking. I was like, ‘I feel like sometimes I always have to be like that’” She continued, “Just so you guys know, I’m not always confident. I’m not always unapologetically me. Some days I have really, really hard days and there are some days that I wonder what the hell I’m doing and all the things.”

Block concluded her message by introducing her next song, saying, “This song is just kind of where I’ve been over the past two years, and I would love to share it with you.”
Emotional Performance Of The Tune
For her performance, Block was accompanied by an arrangement of just standard acoustic guitar. Dressed in an all denim ensemble accessorized with a variety of bangles, she leaned into the microphone, and threw her whole heart into the song lyrics that say so much, highlighting the vulnerability one can feel after receiving harsh comments on social media to having to miss a friends wedding only to wonder how the person on the other side is feeling. The vulnerable track explores self-doubt, outward confidence and a yearning for recognition.
“I posted a picture and it got a bunch of likes/ that she should lose weight comment kept me up all night/ I hit reply and made a little light of what they said/ like I Couldn’t Care Less/ walked the carpet, sat a couple rows up from the stage/ hoping I would hear my name, they said a different name/ I was clapping, laughing, smiling standing in a sparkly dress/ like I Couldn’t Care Less,” Block sang on the first verse before going into the chorus.
“Ooh like it don’t mean something/ Ooh like to me it’s nothing/ Like I do my best to get out, shut the door/ Like I couldn’t care less/ Hell I couldn’t care more,” Block belted out the chorus “I Couldn’t Care Less,” which is bound to resonate with the masses and take country music by storm upon release.
Known To Share Vulnerable Songs With Fans
Block is no stranger to sharing vulnerable songs with her fans. Take, for example, her previously released tracks —“Thick Thighs” and “Peaked In High School.” For this show, she made sure to showcase various sides of her personality, churning out fan favorites like “Fake Names,” “He’s My Man,” “Good On You,” and “My Bar,” as well as an impressive covers medley of Billie Eilish’s “Birds Of A Feather,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” and Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True.”
Other artists who performed during Country Now Live included DEMPS, Adam Doleac, Lily Rose, and Vincent Mason. The performances were stripped back, focusing on an intimate setting for attendees, all the while raising money for a good cause.

All proceeds from Country Now Live directly benefited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — a facility that treats and researches childhood cancer and other diseases.
