Post Malone, comedian Shane Gillis, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning are teaming up once again with Bud Light to bring the ultimate party to Super Bowl LX. Combining comedy and star power with the brand’s signature laid-back energy, these celebrities up the ante in a brand-new commercial set to air during the biggest game of the season.
Last year, the slot saw the stars hosting a block party in their neighborhood. This time, however, hilarity ensues at a wedding when the Bud Light keg—not the bride—becomes the unforgettable runaway, leaving all the guests risking it all to save the beverage that got away.
Aptly named “Keg,” the one-minute clip, which dropped on Friday, Jan. 30, is set to Whitney Houston’s version of the iconic Dolly Parton classic, “I Will Always Love You.” The addition of the song brings the short storyline of the ad to life as the formal bridal party, guests, and even the bride and groom shift their priorities to chase down the keg, inserting satirical humor into a message that leaves viewers laughing the rest of the evening with an urge to reach for a drink themselves.

Each celebrity gets their shining moment on screen, with Football Hall of Famer Manning getting his hands on the first pint glass while Global Superstar Malone takes the first leap toward the falling keg. However, it’s Comedian Gillis who saves the day. He casually strolls down a path, taps the keg, and kicks off the festivities. With three wildly different personalities colliding on-screen, the spot promises plenty of laughs and memorable moments as Bud Light once again claims its place at the center of Super Bowl celebration culture.
Before airing its full-length, star-studded commercial, Bud Light, the official beer sponsor of the NFL, released two teaser clips, amping up fans nationwide. But the entire filming process proved just as exciting for its all-star cast.
“I haven’t been to too many weddings, but this was one I definitely couldn’t miss! It’s always a party on set with Bud Light. I was stoked to reunite with my boys and return for my fifth Super Bowl commercial with Bud Light,” Malone, who has been a Bud Light partner for nearly a decade and will take the stage in San Francisco on Friday, February 6, for “Bud Light Presents Post Malone & Buddies,” said in a press release.

“Doing a second Super Bowl commercial with Bud Light this year was great. I was glad to hang out with Post and Peyton again for this one,” Gillis added, with Manning noting, “Nobody does the Super Bowl like Bud Light, so getting to be part of their commercial for the third year in a row was incredible. It’s always a good time when Post, Shane, and I get together, and this wedding is going to be the can’t-miss event of Super Bowl Sunday.”
In addition, Bud Light is celebrating Super Bowl LX by going all out for fans nationwide. From now through game day, fans 21+ can get $60 off a Bud Light keg, plus $10 off pitchers or buckets at participating bars. The brand is also giving away hundreds of kegs through a nationwide rebate and offering fans in Foxborough and Seattle the chance to win tickets to Super Bowl LX. “As the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL for over 20 years, creating an iconic Super Bowl campaign is an opportunity we don’t take lightly,” Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Bud Light, said in a statement. “This year, our ‘Keg’ TVC and overall plan is set to create a memorable Super Bowl LX weekend for NFL fans across the country. Whether you’re watching our hilarious ‘Keg’ spot with Posty, Shane, and Peyton, getting $60 off your keg for Super Bowl Sunday, or attending our Post Malone and Buddies show in San Francisco, there’s no doubt Bud Light is here to make Super Bowl LX an epic experience.”

Super Bowl LX will take place on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, California, when the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is expected around 6:30 p.m. ET, with full pregame coverage beginning earlier in the day. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC and streamed live on Peacock and the NFL app.
