McCoy Moore is sharing his gratitude for an unknown individual with the release of his spiritually driven country track, “Prayin’ For Me.” The infectious offering follows his 2025 live debut performance of the song at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Available now via Sony Music Nashville and written alongside Seth Ennis and Matt Dragstem, “Prayin’ For Me” showcases Moore’s humble attitude and deep appreciation for all of the second chances he’s received, from getting a new lease on life after almost colliding with a white-tailed deer to having his talents noticed while armed with a guitar and a tip jar.

Who’s down here pullin’ springs up there?” Moore questions during the chorus of the reflective track that blends a soulful country sound with lyrics that explore themes of personal struggle, resilience, and the search for guidance in challenging times. “Wherever you are, I owe you one / For bringin’ me up to the man upstairs / I know when them stars are all linin’ up / And he’s lookin’ down and lookin’ out / Oh, it’s gotta be / Somеone’s prayin’ for me.”

Alongside highly relatable lyrics, the 2026 Music Mayhem Artist to Watch’s vocal delivery on the track is both vulnerable and powerful, conveying a sense of authenticity that resonates with the listener. Additionally, “Partyin’ For Me” perfectly highlights his growing artistry as he prepares for the next phase of his music career.

“Early last year, it really felt like everything started coming together for me in Nashville, and I thought, man, someone must be praying for me. I knew there were a few, but there’s got to be some more that I didn’t know about,” Moore shared of the track’s personal message. “The song ‘Prayin’ For Me’ is a thank you to everybody who prayed for me then, and everybody who still does now.”

In addition to the “Prayin’ For Me” audio, Moore brings the song lyrics to life with an accompanying video. The clip opens with him showing his blue-collar lifestyle as he paints the picture of the lyrics with shots of deer running through nature while driving through the countryside. There are moments where Moore sings directly into the camera, creating a personal and vulnerable connection with the viewer, as well as a balance between imagery and artist personality.

“Prayin’ For Me” follows Moore’s 2025 self-titled debut EP, which introduced fans to his strength in songwriting and raw musical talent. Songs on that project include “Memories We Never Made,” “John Deere Blue,” “Naming Boats,” “Something To You,” “Speaking Your Mind,” “Bible and a Bar,” and “Dress Rehearsal.”

“These seven songs are the perfect introduction to my music. I wrote them all with my friends, and I feel like they cover all the bases of who I am,” Moore previously shared in a press release. “I’m so excited that these songs are going to be out in the world, and I hope you love them as much as I do.”
