After several back-to-back shows on his sold-out The Dangerous Tour, Morgan Wallen enjoyed his day off the road by taking in a NASCAR race.

The “Wasted On You” singer spent some quality time with Denny Hamlin, driver of the #11 FedEx Camry, ahead of the Ally 400 NASCAR Cup Series in Nashville on Sunday (June 26).

Hamlin shared several snapshots of himself with Wallen on Instagram with the caption, “One of us can sing.”

Wallen showed his appreciation for Hamlin on Instagram stories.

“Thank you, Denny Hamlin and crew for y’all’s hospitality yesterday,” he wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of him and Hamlin during the National Anthem and flyover.

Nashville Superspeedway documented Wallen’s visit to the track as well, writing, “He may love #NASHCAR more than his hometown!”

While at the Nashville Superspeedway, the East Tennessee native also met other drivers and fans, including rising artist, Julia Cole.

“My friends are faster than your friends 🔥,” she captioned a group photo with Hamlin and Wallen standing on either side of her.

Morgan Wallen earned his sixth No.1 single at country radio this week with “Wasted On You.” He’s set to return to the road on July 2 and July 3 with back-to-back shows at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Dubbed “NASHCAR,” the Ally 400 took place at the Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday, June 26. The event brought out a plethora of country music artists, including, Kane Brown, who served as the Grand Marshal, as well as Brothers Osborne, who headlined the pre-race concert, and Reyna Roberts, who sang the National Anthem.

Tyler Braden, Chase Rice, Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox, Julia Cole, Peytan Porter, Shelby Darrall, Charles Esten, Halle Kearns, Mason Ramsey, and more were also in attendance.

Dolly Parton and Keith Urban also partook in the festivities virtually.

Chase Elliott took the checkered flag in the NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400.
