Back in November of 2022, Lauren Alaina announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Cameron “Cam” Arnold. Now, it appears the newlyweds-to-be have taken the next step in their journey to husband-and-wife. Together, the pair ventured overseas for two weeks to spend some quality time with members of Arnold’s side of the family, who live in Germany.
Between that time, however, the country singer’s fiancé also whisked Alaina off to Paris as a surprise Christmas gift. His sweet present to her came complete with a massage, dinner, and sparkling champagne, which the two toasted with while seated in view of the historic Eiffel Tower.
Lauren Alaina made sure to document her and her fiancé’s romantic trip to the “City of Light” for fans to see. She posted a series of videos on TikTok, beginning with the couple’s train ride to the capital of France.
In the clip, as seen below, it’s clear to see that Alaina can’t contain her excitement. She holds her arm up in the air and squeals out loud as she and Arnold wait to board the train to their destination. Once aboard, they enjoy a Paris-themed meal and cheers each other by holding up their drinks. After receiving a massage from her man, Alaina appears dressed to the nines as she and her fiancé make their way to the Eiffel Tower.

Alaina and her love also explored the city by walking through an art gallery called The Musée de l’Orangerie, which includes famous works of art by Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Henri Rousseau and more.

“I literally cried when I walked in here,” Alaina admits in a clip before revealing she also took a photo of the famous Mona Lisa portrait by Leonardo da Vinci.
And what would a trip to Paris be if one didn’t learn how to cook like the locals? Alaina and Arnold enjoyed their final day in the city by taking a cooking class.

Alaina’s trip overseas also included surprising Arnold’s adorable nieces, which took place after the couple got settled in Alaina’s future-brother-in-laws home, which was decorated to celebrate the bride-to-be’s welcoming into the Arnold family.

“We made it to Germany, and look, engaged! They set it up for us,” Alaina says with a smile spread across her face in a clip shared to TikTok.
“We are about to surprise Cameron’s nieces. They are at school and have no idea that we are here in Germany and we’re gonna pick ‘em up,” Alaina explains before she and Arnold enter school property to share hugs with the two girls.

Alaina announced her engagement back in November during her set at the Grand Ole Opry. She also invited her fiancé – who admittedly doesn’t like to step on stages – to join her inside the historic circle onstage.
“Everybody, this is my fiancé,” Alaina told the audience. “I told him he had to come out here and we had to get a picture, so, we’re doing it because this is the circle and I’m going to hold my hand up and do the thing. Make some noise for my future husband everybody!”
Alaina, who hasn’t yet shared a wedding date with the public, later posted her exciting engagement announcement on Instagram, adding a handful of photos celebrating the special occasion.
