It’s date night on the red carpet for Blake Shelton and wife Gwen Stefani, who will both be performing during the CMT Music Awards. Stefani sported a black jacket and tie with a white shirt along with a sequined mini skirt and knee-high black feathered boots.
Shelton matched his bride with a black jacket, vest, and tie, along with a gray shirt and blue jeans.
Stefani will make her CMT Music Awards debut and team up with Carly Pearce for a special collaboration, while Shelton will be performing his hit “No Body,” which was a finalist for the fan-voted Video of the Year award. This marks Shelton’s first time back on the CMT Music Awards stages in five years.
Shelton is currently in the midst of his final season on NBC’s singing competition show The Voice, where he has served as a coach for 23 seasons. During his time on the show, the “No Body” singer has earned nine wins, most recently when rising star Bryce Leatherwood claimed first place with Team Blake in 2022.
Ahead of their collaboration at the CMT Music Awards, Stefani surprised Pearce with a special gift. On March 18, Stefani took to social media to share a clip of her hand-delivering a present to Pearce, who was in the midst of touring with Shelton on his Back To The Honky Tonk Tour.
“Ok Carly Pearce, you told me you were a GXVE fan. I’m about ready to hook you up,” Stefani said. The video documents Stefani’s journey from Los Angeles on a private plane to Pearce’s dressing room backstage at one of Shelton’s concerts. “We’re doing it! Where are you Carly?” Stefani said as she made her way through the backstage area to Pearce’s dressing room.
“Look what I brought for you all the way from Los Angeles.” In shock, Pearce said “Oh my God!” as Stefani handed her a GXVE-branded black box full of makeup products. The generous gift package included a red GXVE hoodie as well as a makeup bag and several other GXVE products such as lipstick, eyeshadow, and more.
