NF released a brand new single entitled “Clouds,” the first single from his just-announced Mixtape on Thursday (Feb. 18).
The rapper announced that the song is the first track from his forthcoming new 10-track Mixtape, Clouds. The mixtape features two collaborations including with HOPSIN and TECH N9NE. The mixtape is available for preorder now, HERE.
In the new song, NF raps that although mixtapes aren’t his thing, he admits it’s too exhausting holding onto songs this long that it’s daunting.
“Mixtapes aren’t my thing but it’s been awfully / exhausting, hanging onto song as long as daunting,” NF sings.
Along with the new single, the rapper dropped a very dark, cinematic music video to accompany the track, which you can watch below.
“Clouds” marks the rapper’s first new song in 2021, and follows the release of his poignant track, “Chasing_(Demo),” which was released in October 2020 and features 15-year-old Australian fan named, Mikayla Sippel.

The mixtape is the first collection of music released by NF, since the release of his No. 1 album, The Search.
CLOUDS (The Mixtape) is set for release on March 26, 2021.
NF and his wife Bridgett are expecting their first child together, a son, later this year in August 2021.
