New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) brought their highly successful ‘Mixtape Tour’ into Atlantic City, NJ at the Borgata Event Center for one of the most intimate performances of the entire tour, performing to a sold out crowd of diehard blockheads who were able to secure one of these high demand tickets. The ‘Mixtape Tour’ playing to sold out arenas across the U.S. and Canada of over 20,000 made for this show to be a very intimate tour with about 3,000 fans. The fans filling the venue were dressed in custom made attire with lyrics from different NKTOB songs or even just showing their support of the 80’s and 90’s fashion trends with neon colored clothes and hairstyles to match.

New Kids On The Block brought along their friends in Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson for a nostalgic evening of some of the most adored performers of the 1980’s and 1990’s and this tour proved that these performers still got ‘The Right Stuff’ today as they are touring through sold out arenas.

The ‘Mixtape Tour’ was very unique as there were five performers and NKOTB were technically billed as the headliners of the tour but this tour had no openers: The four special guests including Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Naughty by Nature and Salt-N-Pepa all performed their hottest hits and even a few new ones thrown into the mix by blending their performances perfectly together, with NKOTB launching the show at 8:30pm followed by Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Salt-N-Pepa before NKOTB rejoined the stage in new outfits to performed an even more intimate performance for the fans on their b-stage and throughout the at capacity crowd. Even though the tour is performing for massive venues across the U.S. and Canada, NKOTB made fans feel closer to them with a more personal performance as they all performed throughout the crowd during multiple songs making for some selfie-worthy moments that fans will remember forever. The unique vibes of this tour have made this tour become one of the most raved about tours of the summer so far.

NKOTB consisting of Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood kicked off the night with a new song “The Way,” before going into some fan-favorite hits like “My Favorite Girl,” “Dirty Dancing,” and then a slew of other hits that spanned across their entire discography throughout the night. The band picked songs from all seven of their albums that fans really enjoy and they definitley picked the right ones cause fans knew every word and roared along to the songs with the same excitement as if these songs were just released days ago but that is no surprise as NKOTB have sold over eighty million records worldwide, showing their fans loyalty to the band.

NKOTB celebrated the 30th Anniversary of their second studio album, Hangin’ Tough throughout this ‘Mixtape Tour.’ The album that brought the band success and popularity throughout the U.S. and mainstream radio play as it included some of their biggest hits like “Please Don’t Go Girl,” “I’ll Be Loving You” and of course the title track to the album “Hangin’ Tough.” Ending their just under 3-hour show with a collaborative performance of their new hit “80’s Baby,” a track that included all of the performers (Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson) that NKOTB recently released on their 30th Anniversary edition of Hangin’ Tough.
