Morgan Wallen revealed that he is working on new music and is ready to start sharing “sneak peeks” with fans “soon” as he gears up to return to the road on his headlining Still The Problem Tour, kicking off April 10 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Before taking the stage at SiriusXM’s Morgan Wallen Radio launch celebration concert on Thursday evening (April 2), where he performed an impressive 16-song set for nearly 4,000 subscribers and gave fans a taste of what to expect on his upcoming 23-show stint, the 32-year-old country superstar spoke with Cody Alan about his recent Instagram post, which featured a carousel of images captioned, “I guess it’s about time I come out of hibernation for a bit.”

Alan questioned Wallen about the post, asking “I think a lot of fans would like to know what were you doing during hibernation?,” to which the “Don’t We” singer explained, “Hibernation is probably not the best word I could have used. I worked a lot…I’ve been hanging out with my son, making music, and that’s about it.”

He further elaborated on his time off during his performance. “I haven’t played a show in a few months,” Wallen added. “I’ve been hanging out with my family, hanging out in the woods a little bit, making some new music.”

Wallen went on to share that he is still in the cycle for his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, which has spawned eight radio singles so far, seven of which have already reached No. 1. His current single “Don’t We” is also climbing the charts, including “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody,” “I’m The Problem,” “Just In Case,” “What I Want” featuring Tate McRae, “I Got Better,” “20 Cigarettes,” and “Don’t We.”

“I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do as far as this album. I think I’m on seven or eight singles right now. So it’s probably nearing the end for this album. I’m trying to figure that out,” the East Tennessee native and father of one admitted.

As for what’s to come next on his fifth studio album, he revealed that he is still in the “early stages” of the writing and recording process, but is “at a place to where I’ll start showing little sneak peeks” with fans on social media “soon.”

When Alan said “bring it” in reference to the forthcoming new music, adding, “we’ll play it all on Morgan Wallen radio,” Wallen replied, “I’m definitely going to play that.”

Wallen partnered with SiriusXM to play one of his most intimate shows in years to commemorate the launch of his new exclusive year-round channel, Morgan Wallen Radio. Relive this special performance on Morgan Wallen Radio launch day, April 7th at 4pm CT on Morgan Wallen Radio (channel 64).

“My tour starts next week up in Minneapolis… so it’s nice to get my feet wet in Nashville, Tennessee tonight with you guys,” Wallen stated to the capacity crowd inside The Pinnacle Nashville.

Additionally, Wallen will launch his Still The Problem Tour in just a few days. Produced by AEG Presents, with the Alabama date by Live Nation, Morgan Wallen’s Still The Problem Tour kicks off with two nights at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and runs through August 1 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The trek features rotating support from Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, and Thomas Rhett, with additional acts including Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, Hudson Westbrook, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason, and Blake Whiten.

Wallen will play two nights in most cities, including stadium stops at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Florida, Michigan Stadium, and Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Alabama. The Still The Problem Tour follows the massive success of Wallen’s headlining I’m The Problem Tour.

A portion of each ticket sold goes toward the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), which supports youth music and athletic programs. As part of the I’m The Problem Tour, the Morgan Wallen Foundation donated over $600,000 worth of instruments gifted to schools in need across U.S. tour stops, plus a $30,000 donation to the Toronto Blue Jays’ Jays Care RBI program.
