Morgan Wallen praised his parents following the adoption of his new sister.

The “Wasted On You” singer gushed over his Mom, Lesli, and Dad, Tommy, in the comment of his mom’s latest Instagram post, where she shared the exciting news that the Wallen family adopted a young girl named Lacey on Monday (July 12) with the help of Omni Visions in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Lesli explained in the caption of her Instagram post that while she always wanted more children, the Lord waited till now to bless her.

“Today was adoption day! I never imagined what God had in store for us as we started down this road in foster care,” Lesli captioned a series of photos welcoming their new daughter to the family. “I always wanted more children, God decided to wait until now! We thank him for his blessing on our family and for tying our hearts with hers. We love her dearly. I am not posting her face for obvious reason for a while.”

She also included several hashtags in the caption of the post, including, “#gotchaday #adoptionday #fostercaresaveslives @omnivisions_knox #ourheartsforfostercare”

Pictured is Wallen’s parents, his niece Haven and the family’s newest addition, Lacey. In the photos, the family can be seen wearing white t-shirts that read “Family Ever After,” while Lacey is seen wearing a purple shirt that reads, “stole their hearts, now I’m stealing their last name,” situated alongside her name and adoption date.

In addition to the photos of Lacey and the family, Lesli also shared a photo FaceTiming with her daughters, Ashlyne & Mikaela, as well as her son, country superstar Morgan Wallen. It appeared that Lesli was sharing the exciting news of their new sibling with them.

“You guys are special people!! Thankful for you,” Morgan praised his parents in the comment of the post.

“So excited!!! Love you guys,” Ashlyne Wallen added in the comments.

The adoption was completed with the help of Omni Visions’ employee, Melissa Cox, who Wallen’s mom Lesli admits became a true friend during the adoption process and that she shared a photo with.

“Melissa Cox the most amazing OmniVisions employee, who became our friend through this journey. We love you Melissa! @omnivision_knox,” Lesli captioned a photo of herself alongside Melissa on adoption day.

Lacey joins siblings brother Wallen and sister’s Ashlyne and Mikaela.

Additionally, Wallen and his family recently celebrated his son Indigo Wilder’s 1st birthday with a cowboy-themed party at GratiDude Ranch in Franklin, Tennessee. The family shared some adorable photos from the party, where not a single detail was missed.
