Morgan Wallen just announced his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, I’m The Problem.
Wallen Announces Fourth Studio Album, I’m The Problem
The country superstar sent fans into a frenzy on social media when he unveiled the exciting news on Friday (Jan. 24). The only details shared about the album were its name, album art and the release date for the project’s title track, “I’m The Problem.” No other information about the album has been revealed as yet.

Title Track Drops On January 31
On Friday, January 31, Wallen will release the project’s title track, “I’m The Problem,” which was co-written by Wallen alongside ERNEST Keith Smith, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block and Jamie McLaughlin, and produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome.
He previously teased the song on social media one year ago on January 12, 2024, which he simply captioned, “I Guess.” The tune captures a turbulent relationship and finds Wallen reflecting on a breakup, where the demise of the relationship was blamed on him. In the song, Wallen questions why his ex fell in love with him in the first place if he is such a “problem” while also pointing out her flaws. As the tune continues, he then recalls the dynamics of the romance and wonders if he is truly the reason for the breakup, or if his ex-lover played a larger role in the challenges that ultimately ended their relationship.
“You say I’ll never change/ just a go around town with some gasoline/ just trying to bum a flame/ going to burn the whole place down/ then how do you explain/ ever falling in love with a guy like me in the first place/ turn around and say that I’m the worst thing/ I guess I’m the problem/ And you’re ‘Miss Never Do No Wrong’/ If I’m so awful, then why’d you stick around this long?/ And if it’s the whiskey, then why you keep on pullin’ it off the shelf?/ You hate that when you look at me, you halfway see yourself/ And it got me thinkin’/ If I’m the problem, then you might be the reason,” Wallen sang in the teaser clip.
Follows Success Of “Smile,” “Lies Lies Lies” and “Love Somebody”
The new album will feature the previously released tracks “Smile,” “Lies Lies Lies” and “Love Somebody.”
“I’m The Problem” follows Wallen’s recent hit, “Smile,” which reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His previous single, “Lies Lies Lies,” became his 16th No. 1 at Country radio, while “Love Somebody” marked Wallen’s first solo debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Love Somebody” debuted on 11 global charts, making Wallen the first artist to have three songs simultaneously hold the top spots on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
I’m The Problem follows the release of his record-breaking projects, Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time, which ranked No. 1 and No. 6 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums of the 21st Century, respectively.
His third studio album, One Thing At A Time, spent 19 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 – the longest streak at the top for a Country album – and produced seven No. 1 singles on Country radio. One Thing At A Time featured 36-songs and arrived on March 3, 2023, via Big Loud Records. Produced by Joey Moi, One Thing At A Time featured fan-favorite hits such as “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” “Last Night,” “One Thing At A Time,” “Everything I Love,” “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” “I Wrote The Book,” and “Don’t Think Jesus,” as well as collaborations with Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY.
I’m The Problem Tour
The 31-year-old East Tennessee native will celebrate the project by taking it on the road for a 19-date stadium tour, featuring rotating direct support from Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel, with additional support from Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.
The headlining trek, aptly named the I’m The Problem Tour, will kick off in Houston, Texas with back-to-back shows at NRG Stadium on June 20 and June 21. Morgan Wallen’s headlining I’m The Problem Tour will make stops at 19 stadiums across the U.S. and Canada, running through September 13, with the tour wrapping up in Edmonton, Alberta, at Commonwealth Stadium for two back-to-back shows.
“We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,” Wallen shared in a press release. “As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there.”

The newly-announced dates comes on the heels of One Night At A Time becoming the highest-selling country tour in history.
Sand In My Boots Festival
Additionally, Morgan Wallen will also host his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival on the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL in May. The festival, which sold out in less than two hours of ticket on-sale, will feature Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY as the headliners across three days and three nights, with special guests including Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, The War on Drugs, 2 Chainz, Chase Rice, Three 6 Mafia, 3 Doors Down, Ella Langley, ERNEST, Morgan Wade, Moneybagg Yo and more.

Wallen’s 19 Stadium shows paired with the first-ever Sand In My Boots Festival will mark the only tour dates for Wallen in 2025.
