Morgan Wallen has broken Luke Combs record for the most pre-added album of the week with his forthcoming Dangerous: The Double Album.
The country superstar released three new songs from the upcoming album including “Somebody’s Problem,” “Livin’ The Dream” and “Still Goin’ Down” when he launched preorders for the project. This allowed fans to listen to the new tracks while also pre-adding the new album,
Dangerous: The Double Album sits atop Apple Music’s pre-add chart, which launched exclusively on Rolling Stone, for the week of November 20th through November 26. With this Wallen has broken the record for the most pre-added country album in the history of Apple Music.
Combs previously held the record for Apple Music’s pre-adds with his album, What You See Is What You Get, which went on to break country streaming and chart records.
According to Nielsen, Wallen also holds the top three tracks on country on-demand audio streaming chart this week. “Somebody’s Problem” holds the No. 1 spot with 14 million streams followed by “Still Goin’ Down” at No. 2 with 10 million streams and “More Than My Hometown” at No. 3 with 9.4 million streams and “7 Summers” at No. 5 spot with 7.6 million streams. Combs is at the No. 4 spot with “Forever After All” with 8.8 million streams.
Morgan Wallen served as direct support on Combs’ ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ Tour in 2019.
Wallen is set to make his Saturday Night Live debut this weekend on Saturday, December 5.
