Miranda Lambert thanked her dad Rick in a touching message that she shared to social media.

In honor of Father’s Day on Sunday (June 20), the country superstar shared a photo of her dad alongside a heartfelt message to her father, who she credits for teaching her to play guitar, handle a pistol, love dogs, introducing her to songwriter greats like John Prine and more.

“Happy Father’s Day to my daddy Rick Lambert,” Lambert said. “Thanks for being a great dad to me and Luke Lambert and to all the rest of the people in your life that you have been there for and consider you their “dad”. Thanks for teaching me how to play guitar, handle a pistol, love dogs and most importantly how to be prepared for anything.”

Lambert went on to thank him and her mom Beverly for their family business, Red 55 Winery.

“And thanks to you and mom for the family business that keeps the buzz goin and the wine flowin!!! @red55winery #itrunsinthefamily”
