Megan Moroney brought her highly-anticipated Am I Okay? Tour to The Pinnacle for the first of two sold-out shows at the Nashville venue, delivering a 90-minute, high-energy set packed with sing-alongs, sass and plenty of sparkle.
The excitement for Moroney’s Nashville concert was undeniable, with many fans lining up as early as 9 AM to secure the best spot in the venue. By showtime, The Pinnacle had been transformed into a shimmering sea of royal blue, as the majority of the sold-out crowd arrived in ensembles that paid homage to the signature color scheme of Moroney’s latest project, Am I Okay?, which also serves as the title track of her latest album and the namesake of her tour.
The 27-year-old country music sensation made her dazzling entrance onto the royal blue-drenched stage in a custom glittery gray Bronx and Banco ensemble and white Lane Boots. As the crowd erupted into a thunderous sing-along to “Man on the Moon,” Moroney appeared following a countdown reminiscent of a NASA spaceship launch — perfectly echoing the unstoppable, skyward trajectory of Moroney’s soaring career.

The self-proclaimed “emo cowgirl” gave fans the perfect blend of her entire catalog, beginning with her deluxe sophomore project, Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), which kicked off her 90-minute set with songs such as “Moon on the Moon,” “Indifferent,” “I Know You,” “Noah,” “Third Time’s the Charm” and “No Caller ID” before transitioning into fan-favorite songs from her debut album, Lucky, such as “I’m Not Pretty,” “Girl in the Mirror,” “Sleep on My Side” and “Lucky.”
Megan Moroney’s stacked set list also included a deep cuts from early on in her career, including “Hair Salon” and “I Love Me,” as well as the evening’s surprise song, “Wonder,” which was handpicked by the fans. She also delivered a breathtaking rendition of “Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You” by Brooks & Dunn.
The singer/songwriter confidently powered through each song and effortlessly belted out the lyrics to the “emo cowgirl” anthems. Each song — even the deep cuts — sparked deafening sing-alongs, with the sold-out crowd so loud that Moroney could hear them through her in-ears, at a volume rivaled only by the likes of Taylor Swift or One Direction fans.

Moroney, a natural-born star and live entertainer, brought an arena-level production to the 4,500 capacity venue that further amplified her live show and offered stunning visuals that perfectly complimented each song.
A standout moment came during “Miss Universe,” when she stopped the show and brought out a young fan named Kylie to crown her “Miss Universe” and give her a bouquet of royal blue roses.

Prior to wrapping up her 25-song set with “I’ll Be Fine” and “Am I Okay?,” Megan Moroney, who was all smiles, took a moment to speak to the crowd to express gratitude and appreciation for those who have helped her achieve the success she’s rightfully earned.
“I just want to say thank you for literally everything,” she began. “I moved to Nashville five years ago in June, and y’all have just completely changed my life. I thought I was going to be an accountant. I mean, I moved to Nashville with hopes that this would work out, but I literally had no idea, and if I had to stop doing this tomorrow, y’all have like made my entire life already. I’m not going to stop tomorrow, but what I’m saying is that I already feel so fulfilled and just happy that I get to do music with my life, and it’s because of every single person in this room. So, thank you so, so much for making all of the wildest dreams come true. I’m so, so appreciative.”
She went on to acknowledge her fan’s endless support and loyalty. “Thanks for making all the signs and buying merch and making merch, and some of y’all have been outside since like 9:00 AM, which is crazy. I’m sure you can’t wait to sit down, but I’m just so grateful,” Moroney continued. She then recalled how, nearly two years ago to the date, she played to a few hundred fans at Nashville’s Exit/In. Now, she’s headlining sold-out shows and commanding the stage like a seasoned pro.
“It’s really crazy… My manager was telling me earlier that two years almost to the date I played at the Exit/In, which is like a 500 cap room, and y’all were loud and crazy then,” Moroney added. “Now, it’s just like the same exact vibe, but it’s bigger and hopefully the next time I play in Nashville, I’ll get to play Bridgestone [Arena]. I’m just putting that into the air, hopefully that happens, but I don’t know. I’m just so, so grateful… I’m just mind blown at the way that you all have supported me and I feel so grateful, and I could literally stand up here for 10 hours and keep yapping about it. But thank you so, so much for literally everything.”

Moroney concluded with a motivational message to fans, “I want to encourage any dreamer out there, too, to do what you’re passionate about and do it until it works. Like I never ever thought that… if you would’ve told me even the day I moved to Nashville, that in five years I would play two sold out nights here, I would’ve told you that you’re crazy. So for all the dreamers out there, whatever it is, big or small, do it until it works because it is a 100% percent possible. I’m up here… it’s crazy.”
The reigning ACM New Female Artist of the Year closed out the show with a full-circle performance alongside Chase Matthew. “I want to shout out my wonderful opener, Chase Matthew. If y’all didn’t know, like in 2022, he was the first artist that ever took me out on tour. I had a 30-minute spot, and it was just me and a guitar, and I was trying to figure out how to sing in front of people,” Moroney explained before going on to perform “Am I Okay?” with Matthew. “So, I’m just really grateful to have him here tonight. It’s a hometown show for him, and he’s got a new album out, so y’all go check it out and wherever you are, Chase, I love you, and it’s just really cool to see how much he’s grown over the past few years.”
Moroney and Matthew’s performance of “Am I Okay?” ended as fans were showered in royal blue and white confetti.
Hometown hero Chase Matthew opened up the show with a set that included his Top 5 hit “Love You Again,” “Drives My Truck,” “County Line” and the fan-favorite “Darlin’” as well as covers of “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean and “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line.
