Miley Cyrus has been dominating with amazing rock covers including The Cranberries, Fleetwood Mac, The Cure, Hall & Oates, Metallica and more.

It seems the superstar is exploring her creative pop roots with a rock-infused sound on her new ‘Plastic Hearts’ era and you can hear it in her single “Midnight Sky,”

On Sunday (Oct. 25), a fan named Allison Dickson tweeted suggesting that Cyrus team up with Halestorm front woman Lzzy Hale on a track.

“Since Miley Cyrus is doing rock covers, it’d be cool if she teamed up with Lzzy Hale on a single,” Dickson said in the below Tweet.

Hale quickly replied eager to work with Cyrus saying “you know i’m down.”

Hale later made another Tweet challenging the superstar to a collaborative track.

“I challenge you xo,” Hale added.

There has been several fan tweets over the recent months begging for the collaboration to happen between Hale and Cyrus. Cyrus has yet to reply on the possibility but we can only hope something comes from this now viral Tweet.

Cyrus is preparing to unleash her seventh studio album, Plastic Hearts, which is set for release on November 27th via RCA Records.
