Luke Combs is ringing in 2021 making some homemade Jerky in his Weston dehydrator.

The “Forever After All” singer took to his Instagram stories to share that he is currently in the kitchen cooking up some Jerky. The superstar even let fans in on where his Jerky recipe comes from and it’s Steven Rinella’s The MeatEater Fish and Game Cookbook.

The MeatEater Fish and Game Cookbook boasts of recipes and techniques for every hunter and angler. Rinella, who is one of the most respected and beloved hunters in America, wrote the cookbook after fans kept requesting his recipes from the hit Netflix series and podcast MeatEater. The book features hundreds of his best recipes that range from his takes on favorite staples to more surprising and exotic meals.

Combs went on to explain that he is using a Weston dehydrator that he highly recommends getting if you are able to.

“For those that are asking, this is a Weston Pro 1200 dehydrator, is what it is right here, it comes highly recommended from yours truly, get you one if you can,” Combs said in the clip shared to his Instagram story.

The singer shared photos of the cookbook as well as his dehydrator that was filled with Jerky. It is unclear what type of meat the Jerky was made from.

Combs recently released the deluxe edition of his chart-topping album, What You See Is What You Get, dubbed What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. He also recently revealed that he has been “writing songs” a lot and spending “extra time” with his wife during quarantine.

He also shared a teaser of a new song entitled “Ever Mine,” which you can listen to HERE.
