Luke Combs surprised his wife Nicole Hocking Combs with some “Christmas Chickens.”
On Tuesday (Dec. 22), just days before Christmas, the country superstar gifted his wife a few new chickens, this time Christmas chickens that are perfect for the holidays.
Nicole took to her Instagram story to show off her new Christmas Chickens saying “Luke surprised me with Christmas Chickens.” See the new chickens below.
Combs says that the gift is “pure country heat” in his reply to the story on his Instagram.
During quarantine, Combs and his wife have taken on a new role as parents to a few feathered children (chickens).
“We got chickens now, so we go out every morning and let them out and put them up at night,” Combs told Rolling Stone. He also revealed during the interview that he is “living the redneck dream” during quarantine. “We planted a garden. We make coffee in the morning and cook every meal. A simple existence is something I enjoy — and just finding joy in the quiet. I don’t have any neighbors here that I can even see from my house, so I can hunt right here, ride ATVs, go look for morel mushrooms in the woods. I’m just living the redneck dream out here right now.”
Hocking also shared a few festive photos of the couple’s dogs, JoJo and Fisher, which you can view below.
Combs recently released the deluxe edition of his chart-topping album, What You See Is What You Get, dubbed What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. He also recently revealed that he has been “writing songs” a lot and spending “extra time” with his wife during quarantine.
He also shared a teaser of a new song entitled “Ever Mine,” which you can listen to HERE.
