Luke Bryan Sets The Record Straight About Viral Moment At Recent Florida Concert With Shirtless Man

Luke Bryan is setting the record straight about a viral video circulating around social media from his recent concert in Tampa, Florida.

During a conversation with Taste of Country Nights, the 2022 CMA Awards co-host revealed that the moment “was not planned out,” however, the fan was invited to join him on stage during his performance of “That’s My Kind Of Night.”

Some concertgoers shared video of the now viral moment and said that the fans just “hopped” on stage to join Luke, but that’s not exactly how it went down.

Bryan revealed that he saw the fan in the crowd dancing and asked him to come show off his dance moves alongside him on stage.

“The guy was down there dancing, and I told him to get up on stage,” Bryan explained. “The security did not see me tell him to get up on stage, and I cleared it with one security guard and he gets up and the other one — they were about to roll that guy.”

“I diffused the situation and he was pretty funny,” Bryan added.

The final night of the Raise Up Right Tour also found Bryan shaking his hips in celebration of the Georgia Bulldogs’ win over the Tennessee Volunteers. Earlier in the day, Bryan served as the ESPN “College GameDay” picker.

Following the show, Luke Bryan took to social media to reflect on his 2022 tour.

“Last show of the #RaisedUpRightTour. I love my tour family,” Bryan wrote. ”Thank you to @rileyduckman and @m10penny for being such great opening acts. @chaycebeckhammusic it was great having you out this last week. You did great. See y’all on the road next year.”

Luke Bryan is set to co-host the 56th Annual CMA Awards alongside NFL icon Peyton Manning later this week on Wednesday, November 9. This marks Manning’s first time hosting “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” and Bryan’s second.

Bryan will take a break from his co-hosting duties during the coveted awards show ceremony to perform his current single, “Country On.” The three-hour show will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena from 8:00-11:00 PM/EST on ABC.

Earlier this month, the Georgia native shared a brand-new song called “Prayin’ In A Deer Stand.”

Co-written by Bryan alongside Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins, “Prayin’ In A Deer Stand” finds the Georgia native reflecting on life and his faith while hunting.

“I do my prayin’ in a deer stand / On my back forty church / Thinkin’ about life on a cold sunrise / Yeah, that’s my heaven on earth / Me and God in a cornfield / Gotta think He understands / I might miss a Sunday from time to time / But I get there when I can / We’re all good in these woods / ‘Cause here I am, prayin’ in a deer stand,” Bryan sings in the chorus of the tender ballad.

“This is such a personal song to me,” Bryan shared of the tune. “The world can be a busy place and I, like a lot of people, have a ton of different things going on, but getting to be outside, it grounds and reenergizes me. There is just something about it that never gets old.”
“Prayin’ In A Deer Stand” follows the release of his current radio single “Country On.”

The five-time Entertainer of The Year also announced the return of his annual concert vacation, Crash My Playa, which will take place January 19-22, 2023, in Riviera Cancun, Mexico at the AAA Four Diamond awarded resort, Moon Palace Cancún.

The “Country On” singer revealed that he will headline two of the four nights and announced that Chris Stapleton and Cole Swindell, will also take the stage for a headlining concert.

“Oh my gosh this line up! Some dear friends and new friends but regardless, what an amazing treat for the fans,” Bryan shared in a press release. “Everybody rest up and get ready for these four beachside hangs.”

Dustin Lynch will make his return to host and perform during a very special pool party. Ashley McBryde, Brian Kelley, Carly Pearce, Chase Rice, Dylan Scott and DJ Rock were also announced to perform on the private stretch of white sand beaches at the annual event.

Additional artists will be announced for the event in the coming weeks.
