Luke Bryan said that his Las Vegas Residency will be “real authentic,” and allow him to really be himself and be his chance to connect with his fans on a more personal level. He also revealed that his mother, LeClaire Bryan, will be in attendance.

Earlier this month, the country hitmaker, who has nine Vegas shows this month, opened up about his first-ever Las Vegas Residency, which kicks off in just a few days on February 11 at Resorts World Theatre. During a discussion with PEOPLE, Bryan admits that while he has big shoes to fill, he is not trying to compete with Carrie Underwood and Katy Perry, who took to the stage before him and stunned with their top-notch production and flawlessly choreographed shows.

“The girls are able to really make it more theatrical,” the country superstar told the outlet. “My thing is, I’m gonna throw my band on stage” and “keep it real authentic to what I always have been.”

The country hitmaker also vowed that he will “use the technology behind me to really have moments where fans can be wowed.”

Bryan also shared that he thinks Vegas is a place he will and always has been able to put his lovable and genuine personality on full display.

“I’m going to come out there and deliver the energy, deliver the entertainment,” Bryan continued. “I think in Vegas, I’ve always been able to get away with really being myself, being free, and reacting with the fans in the moment. I think in Vegas, you can get away with that a little more than some conservative country music markets across the country.”

The American Idol judge plans to separate his performance into segments that spotlight different portions of his career from his stadiums and arenas to the farm shows and intimate acoustic moments. He will use Resorts World Theatre’s top-notch production and massive stage to boost his electrifying performance even more.

“The backdrop of the stage and the ability of the sound and lighting is way bigger than what we’re able to do in arenas and amphitheaters,” he added. “When fans see it, that’s the first thing that really hits you is the size of the stage.”

During a recent episode of CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown with Cody Alan, Bryan revealed that fans may have a chance to catch a glimpse of his mother, LeClaire, during his Residency.

“You better believe Momma’s coming to Vegas!” Luke captioned the video clip on Twitter.

“She’s already punched her ticket. She’ll be in Vegas,” the “Up” singer told Alan, before adding, “She’ll probably get fried catfish to the room. She’ll be smoking cigarettes in the room, so I’ll have to pay the no smoking charges. She’s coming to Vegas with bells on, she’s ready to rock!”

Bryan will take the stage in Vegas Feb 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25 & 26. The 5,000-capacity, world-class theatre opened its doors last November. Tickets are on sale now at AXS.com.

In addition to Bryan’s upcoming Vegas shows, the superstar just-announced his 30+ city ‘Raised Up Right’ Tour, which will kick off on June 9 in Charleston, West Virginia. The trek will also feature support from Riley Green, Mitchell Tenpenny and DJ Rock.

“My favorite place to be is on stage performing to country music fans,” Bryan said in a press release. “So thankful every night when I walk out on that stage and know you are there to have a blast along beside me. It never gets old!”
