Brought to life by the creative minds at Droga5, a division of Accenture Song, the Coors Light Chill Train is making a triumphant return from retirement. This time, it’s on a mission to spread “chill” and good vibes across the country, with none other than LL COOL J serving as the train’s conductor.

“The Chill Train and this iconic song have been part of our culture for years, and it’s great to have them back,” Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee LL COOL J shared in a press release. “It’s an honor to be the conductor of the Coors Light Chill Train in their Big Game ad, spreading good vibes and serving up some ice-cold Coors Light.”

Coors Light Chill Train Makes Its Triumphant Return

Coming directly from the Rockies, the Coors Light Chill Train is known for transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary ones, bringing a wave of “chill” wherever its tracks may lead. Travelling at an impressive 900 MPH, the beer train crashes through everyday life scenes, including a memorable photoshoot with country music superstar Lainey Wilson, who is also Coors Light’s newest musical partner.

“I think my family’s going to freak out when they see me on a commercial during the Super Bowl,” Wilson previously told Billboard. “It was such a dream to be in my first big game day and just help reintroduce the Coors Light iconic Chill Train to bring a little bit of that chill that everybody needs. We need that chill out from time to time.”

As the Chill Train delivers refreshing Coors Light to a heated watch party, it makes stops that include speeding through a wedding, resulting in freezing the father of the bride’s happy tears, a man hanging laundry on a clothing line, which froze over, and even brought some chill to a pair of relaxed beach goers, who were enjoying time in the sun.

Another notable moment unfolds when the Chill Train transforms a sunny, Western-themed photoshoot featuring country superstar, Lainey Wilson, who’s gearing up to release her brand-new song “Country’s Cool Again,” into a frosty, ice-filled scene with a Coors Light beer in hand.

The O’Jays’ iconic hit, “Love Train,” serves as the soundtrack for the clip’s exhilarating journey across the country.

Lainey Wilson and LL COOL J each opened up about their experience filming the commercial during recent interviews.

“I was doing a photo shoot with my old trusty guitar and a horse that Coors Light hooked me up with,” Wilson told Billboard. “We had some really cool frosted makeup effects, and we got to do a lot of fake snow in my hair and eyelashes and stuff. I got to do something that I’ve never done and got to be creative in different kind of ways, which is always fun for me.”

Meanwhile, LL COOL J told BET, “Their team reached out to me and said that they were doing something with the Coors light chill train, and they wanted me to be a part of it. They felt like I was the perfect person for the job. They were like, ‘You’re cool, we’re chill, let’s link.’ I thought it sounded like a fun idea. When they told me that the concept was to bring the Coors Light Chill Train out of retirement like ‘Don’t call it a comeback,’ I was down to have some fun with it. The concept felt epic. It felt big and funny and had a whole lot of great energy.”
