As the release of Tyler Hubbard’s debut solo album, Tyler Hubbard, quickly approaches, the country singer shares yet another new track from the highly anticipated project: “Me For Me.” Listen to the EMI Records Nashville recording artist’s newest single here!

Written by Hubbard alongside fellow country hitmakers and friends Russell Dickerson and Thomas Rhett, and produced by Hubbard with Jordan Schmidt, the single highlights the most amazing parts of a relationship. Loving a person for who they are shines through the touching lyrics.

“She loves me for me/ Just as country as can be/ Little rough around the edges/ Like the holes in these old jeans/ Ain’t asking me to change/ Nothin’ far as I can see/ She don’t want nobody different/ No one else I gotta be, no/ She loves me for me,” sings Hubbard in the light-hearted, loved-up track.

“‘Me For Me’” was written with my good buddies, Russell Dickerson and Thomas Rhett. We set aside a few hours and just thought we’d see what happens,” shared Hubbard. “We ended up writing ‘Me For Me,’ which quickly became one of my favorites because it really felt personal and real. I love when an unexpected song falls out of thin air, especially with two of your best buds. I couldn’t wait to get into the studio with (producer) Jordan and bring the song to life.”

Set to drop on January 27, Hubbard’s 18-track album features his smash debut solo single, “5 Foot 9,” which reached No. 1 at radio, secured a Gold certification by the RIAA and has amassed close to 270 million global streams thus far. The forthcoming project also includes his current single, “Dancin’ In The Country,” which has accumulated more than 30 million global streams to date as it now climbs the Top 40 at country radio.

To get fans excited for his debut solo album, Hubbard shared a six-song project this past summer, Dancin’ In The Country. The collection of songs debuted with more than 10,000 SPS units, solidifying its spot as the second best-selling country EP debut of 2022. Dancin’ In The Country also debuted at No. 1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, hit No. 6 on the Current Country Albums sales chart and reached No. 107 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

“For me to be releasing my first album as a solo artist, it means everything. I feel really proud of this music and how special it is to have the opportunity to share my personal story,” shared Hubbard in an Instagram post. “Hopefully it makes you want to come to a show and hang out because most of these songs were created to play live. I can’t wait for you to hear it, I hope y’all get to know me on a deeper level, and I’m so grateful to have you all with me on this incredible journey.”

The country artist wanted Tyler Hubbard to encompass his story and diverse musical influences.

“I know the importance and the value of this first album and really setting the foundation for what’s to come down the road,” said Hubbard. “I’m really proud of this music, and first and foremost excited for everyone to get to know me.”
