Raelynn shared a duet with her longtime friend and mentor Blake Shelton.

The new mom and country superstar released her highly-anticipated new album, Baytown, and among the 14-tracks is a duet with her coach from NBC’s The Voice, Shelton.

Co-written by RaeLynn alongside Corey Crowder and Tyler Hubbard, “Why I Got A Truck” finds Shelton and Raelynn flawlessly harmonizing on the chorus and traded verses throughout the horse powered tune.

“That’s why I got a truck sittin’ in the driveway / Trackin’ that mud up and down the highway / I can haul ass, I can haul hay / I can fill ‘er up every time I get paid / The view’s just better up on 35s / Ain’t a dirt road ’round here it can’t ride / I can get you out if you get stuck / Tailgate down, make a little love / That’s why I got a truck,” the superstar duo sing in the chorus.

Listen to Raelynn and Shelton’s new duet below.

“Congrats on the new album RaeLynn!!!” Shelton shared on Friday (Sept. 24). “Y’all be sure to listen to #BAYTOWN and check out our song ‘Why I Got A Truck!!!!’”

The Texas native and Shelton have remained close friends since he coached her on The Voice, 8 years ago, during Season 2 in 2012.

“Blake is one of the most genuine humans I’ve ever met,” RaeLynn previously gushed to PEOPLE. “I still talk to him at least once a week. He always texts me. He’s about as concerned as I am about my career. He’s always excited any time I have a success. Anytime I’ve ever had questions, he’s always helped me through it.”

Baytown arrived on Friday (Sept. 24) via Round Here Records and is a continuation of her six-song EP of the same name, released in 2020, featuring 8 new tracks. The full-length project features the aforementioned duet with Shelton, as well as a duet with Mitchell Tenpenny called “Get That All The Time.”

BAYTOWN is a record where you can find a little bit of everything. If you know me, you know I love to dance, get rowdy and have a good time, but you also know that songwriting and talking about hard subjects is something I will never steer away from,” RaeLynn shared. “Country music is my heart and soul, and I fell in love with it when I grew up in Baytown, Texas. Everything that I am and what I represent is imprinted with my hometown in my heart. No matter what I do, what I sing or where I live, Baytown will always be represented because it made me who I am today. On some level, we all feel that way about where we were raised. I can’t wait for y’all to dive into this record and see the place you grew up come to life.”

Additionally, Raelynn and her husband Josh Davis welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Daisy Rae, earlier this month.

Born on Wednesday (Sept. 8), Daisy was welcomed into the world at 4:07pm, weighing 7lb 7oz.

“September 8th 2021 we became a family of three! These two are my world,” Raelynn captioned a photo of her husband and their new bundle of joy. “I am beyond thankful for my husband and all the doctors, nurses and our amazing doula @mollyburg17 for helping us bring miss Daisy into the world 🌼 babies are truly a gift. So thankful for our little blonde miracle ❤️ now back to tired selfies, baby snuggles and changing diapers! Love y’all!”
