Lainey Wilson helped make one young fan’s holiday season extra special thanks to TikTok, promising a meet-and-greet to a girl named Sophia who was over the moon to unwrap tickets to one of Wilson’s upcoming shows.

The “Watermelon Moonshine” singer made her promise in a duet with the original clip of Sophia unwrapping one of her Christmas presents, which was posted by a TikTok user named Chelsea. Wilson began by sharing that she had been tagged countless times to watch the video of Sophia, telling the young girl, “you have such a light about you.”
“I’m telling you, your laugh, your personality,” she continued as the original video showed Sophia opening a series of boxes wrapped within boxes that progressively got smaller. “They gettin’ you good, girl,” Wilson laughed, adding, “This made my day.”
Sophia was getting a kick out of her family’s surprise, and Wilson told her, “I could listen to you laugh all day. It makes me wanna laugh.”
Young Fan Brought To Tears After Receiving Lainey Wilson Concert Tickets
When Sophia finally opened the last box, she quickly became emotional as she realized that she was looking at tickets to a Lainey Wilson concert. Wilson herself became emotional as well, despite the fact that she had watched the original video “a million times.”
“You ’bout to make me cry,” she said as Sophia began to tear up and put her head in her hands, telling her family, “Lainey Wilson concert tickets.”
In response, Wilson told Sophia, “Girl, c’mon! I’m gonna be seeing you in Huntsville, and we’re gonna make it a night. You’re gonna come backstage. I love you, and I can’t wait to meet you, girl. We’re gonna make a thing of it. Wear your bell bottoms, wear your hat, I’ll see you there!”
Wilson captioned her duet, “I’m the one that wants to meet you sister! You are everything that is good in life.”
A TikTok user named Kelcie commented with a message of thanks to Wilson, writing, “I have cried so much!! That’s our baby!! Thank you so much Lainey Wilson, you have made our little girls dream come true!!”
Tickets To Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour
Wilson will hit the road in 2024 on her headlining Country’s Cool Again Tour, which will launch on May 31 in Nashville. She will be joined by Ian Munsick, Zach Top and Jackson Dean during select shows on the 35+ date trek.
“Nothing gets me buzzin’ like putting on a show and singing along with the crowd,” Wilson said in a statement when the tour was announced. “I want to give a big thank you to all of the fans who have continuously showed up and showed out this year. We can’t wait to see you nationwide on the “Country’s Cool Again Tour!”
Earlier this month, the Louisiana native played a series of shows at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas earlier this month and surprised fans when she brought Miranda Lambert on stage for two duets including one unreleased song titled “Good Horses,” which they wrote with Luke Dick.
“We wrote a few songs [together]… this song I think is so, so, so special, and you can hear [Miranda] all over it,” Wilson told the crowd. “You can tell that she helped me write this song. I’m so proud of this song and I hope y’all love it.” The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year will likely release new music in 2024, though it’s unclear whether “Good Horses” will be a solo track for either Wilson or Lambert or a duet between the pair.
