Kip Moore recently revealed on Twitter that he has finished his fifth studio album.

Moore took to Twitter to unveil that his new album is “officially finished” and includes 13 brand-new songs that have never been heard before.

“Just officially finished record #5. Sealed. 13 songs none of you guys have heard. We ain’t messin round with this one. Cheers to all the loyal fans. Thank you. We do it for you.”

Although the full track list isn’t out yet, Moore has revealed that the album to be released this summer will include “One Heartbeat,” a duet with Ashley McBryde. This will be the first time Moore has recorded an official duet on a studio album, even though he’s been pushed to do collaborations in the past.

During an interview with Billboard, Moore recalled how the duet came about organically. While on tour together in Alaska, McBryde and Moore were hanging out backstage and started talking about new music.

“She asked if I had written anything that I really love recently, and I started playing ‘One Heartbeat.’ When I finished the first chorus, she grabbed the headstock of the guitar and stopped me. She said, ‘What is that, and can I sing on it with you?’ I said, ‘Hell, yeah,’ and brought her in to sing on it. She’s the best. She’s one of my favorite people on the planet, and she felt like a sister after we did that tour together.”

McBryde even made a surprise appearance at Moore’s Ryman Auditorium show in Nashville, Tennessee last spring, where the two performed “Janie Blu” together.

Moore recently re-recorded his song “Crazy One More Time” and released it as his current radio single, which will also appear on the yet-to-be-named new album.

“It’s going to flow perfectly with the rest of this new record,” Moore told Billboard about the revisited track. “It’s no secret that there is a lot of rock music in what I do. ‘Crazy One More Time,’ the new version, really displays that, and I’ve always been able to straddle that line of country elements with a lot of rock arrangements… This album feels like a visual piece, like you’re watching a movie from start to finish.”

His forthcoming yet-to-be announced album follows his fourth studio album, Wild World, which features the hit single “She’s Mine.”

Additionally, Moore will soon kick off the annual Musikfest in Bethelem, Pennsylvania on August 5, marking the first day of the 11-day festival with a headlining performance on the Wind Creek Steel Stage.

Willie Nelson, Alabama, and Kelsea Ballerini are among the other country star who will also headline the festival throughout the summer.
