Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman Turn Heads During Date Night At The 2023 Oscars

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman proved they are couple goals on the 95th Academy Awards (The Oscars) red carpet.

The country superstar and the award-winning actress strutted down the red carpet hand in hand at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Urban, wearing a classic all black tuxedo, and Kidman, donning a gorgeous custom black Giorgio Armani Privé high leg slit gown complete with silver beaded roses, walked the carpet with big smiles on their faces. Styled by Julia von Boehm, Kidman paired her elegant gown with diamond jewelry and black strappy heels. The power couple, who have been married for 16 years, also shared a kiss in front of the red carpet photographers.

The “Wild Hearts” singer flew in from his Las Vegas Residency at Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood to be by his wife’s side for the coveted awards show ceremony, which is often referred to as “Hollywood’s Biggest Night.”

Urban and Kidman were also joined by Aussie actor Sam Rechner, who appears in the film, The Fabelmans.

Nicole Kidman Wasn’t Nominated, But Served As A Presenter

While Kidman is not up for any nominations at the 2023 Oscars, she is a part of the star-studded list of presenters that also includes Halle Bailey, Michael B. Jordan, Florence Pugh, and many more.

The 55-year-old award-winning actress has been nominated for five Academy Awards over the course of her career.

Kidman earned her first Academy Award nomination in 2002 for her role in Moulin Rogue in the category for Best Actress. She also nabbed a nod for Best Actress in 2003 for The Hours and 2011 for Rabbit Hole. In 2016, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Lion and more recently she nabbed a nomination for Best Actress with her portrayal of Lucille Ball in Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos.

Despite being nominated five times, Kidman has only won one Academy Award for her role as writer Virginia Woolf in the drama The Hours.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman first met in January 2005 at the G’Day USA gala, an annual event honoring Australians in the United States. The beloved couple share two daughters together, Sunday Rose, 14, and Faith Margaret, 11.

The 95th Academy Awards also featured performances by Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, Stephanie Hsu, Son Lux and David Byrne, as well as Diane Warren and Sofia Carson.

Actor Deepika Padukone also made history as the third Indian actor to present an Oscar during the show.

Kimmel returned for the third time to host The Oscars. He previously hosted the coveted awards show in 2017 and 2018.

Hosted by Kimmel, the 95th Academy Awards aired at 8/7c on ABC.
