Kane Brown and Restless Road go back nearly seven years, when Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichols met Brown while competing on season three of The X Factor in 2013. They were all eliminated from the competition show as solo artists, however Beeken and Pack were invited back to compete as a group with another singer Andrew Scholz, in which they finished in fourth place during the season finale and Restless Road began to pursue their career in music.

After Restless Road’s record deal was ended in 2016, Scholz left the group leaving Beeken and Pack to wonder what is next for the trio, Nichols then joined the group and Brown discovered Pack’s cover of “Good As You” online in 2019 and their music career kicked into high gear as Brown invited them on the road with him, signed them a record deal with his label and even recorded a song and helped them release their self-titled debut EP.

Now, having signed Restless Road to his label, collaborated with them on their debut single “Take Me Home” from the trio’s debut EP and taking them out on his massive Worldwide Beautiful Tour to support his first-ever U.S. arena headlining trek, their relationship is more than just a business partnership but also a longtime friendship.

“Me and Restless Road go back six years. We’ve just started, you know really, really, really to become friends recently because we’re actually working together for good now. Six years we hadn’t gotten to release music or anything. We’ve got an EP out, they’re on tour with me, and it’s just been amazing,” Kane Brown explained about his relationship with the trio. “I feel like a dad just to see everything they are doing and I feel like they have a long career ahead of them.”

Kane Brown was forced to postpone his tour with Restless Road, Russell Dickerson and Chris Lane due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and has since rescheduled the tour dates till late summer/early fall, which you can see the newly scheduled dates below. Brown released his latest single “Cool Again” in late April from his forthcoming new album and has teased a new collaboration with Chris Young called “Famous Friends.”
