With 2020 coming to an end in just over one day, Kane Brown is sharing what lessons he learned and what he’s looking forward to most in the New Year of 2021.
The “Worldwide Beautiful” singer had plans of a momentous year with his massive first-ever arena headlining tour that kicked off in January before it abruptly was forced to come to an end due to the ongoing pandemic. However, that didn’t stop Brown from using his time wisely. He went on to release several collaborations including “One Thing Right (feat. Marshmello),” “Be Like That (feat. Khalid And Swae Lee)” “Last Time I Say Sorry (feat. John Legend),” “Cool Again (feat. Nelly)” as well as be apart of others including “This City” remix with Sam Fischer and “On Me” that appears on the Scooby Doo soundtrack with Thomas Rhett and Ava Max.
The superstar also released his EP, Mixtape Vol. 1 that included hits like “Cool Again,” “Worship You” and the timely “Worldwide Beautiful.”
When sharing what he learned in 2020, Brown says: “I’d say in 2020 I’ve learned that anything can happen out of nowhere. Like, we were on tour for 2 weeks and then Covid hit and we haven’t toured in over a year. So, I’ll never say that I’m ready to take a break ever again. I’ve missed it, I can’t wait to get back out there.”
Brown then said that he is most looking forward to getting back on the road in 2021. Hoping that he can get his daughter, Kingsley, out on the road as so far she has just been a quarantine baby.
“Most looking forward to in 2021.. Hopefully getting to tour, take my family out and to get Kingsley out on the road. She’s been a quarantine baby,” the singer said. “So, I want her to get out and to see the world a little bit, meet to new people, yeah, just be out of the house.”
While it is still unclear what the future and 2021 looks like, as the pandemic continues to rapidly spread, Brown is hopeful to get back out on the road to play shows for fans even if they are socially distant.
