Kane Brown is giving fans another taste of what’s to come on his yet-to-be announced third studio album.

On Tuesday, April 5, the country superstar admitted that he is “excited” to release his forthcoming new album and shared an unreleased new song called “Bury Me In Georgia.”

“Excited for this album man!!” Brown captioned an audio work tape.

The rowdy guitar-driven tune finds Brown detailing that he wants his final resting place to be in Georgia.

“I don’t care what color my suit is or what shoes y’all put on my feet / I don’t care how many people show up or who reads my eulogy / just take me out to that graveyard / sing a send me home song / hook up dogs on my headstone and pile that red dirt on / Bury me in Georgia / let me rest in peace / underneath the pine yeah, yeah, yeah, where my roots run deep / when it’s my day put me in that clay and remember what I told you / when I die bury me in Georgia,” Brown sings in the clip.

After delaying the release of his highly-anticipated new project, Brown recently told Billboard, that album is complete and will be out later this year.

“I am sending my album off for mastering tomorrow,” he told the outlet. “But the album’s done and should be out sometime this year.”

Brown also shared that the upcoming project is his wife Katelyn’s favorite album of his to date.

“I took time with this album and I love every song on the album,” Brown added. “My wife says it’s her favorite album I’ve ever done.”

As Brown’s album release date remains unknown, the country hitmaker confirmed that fan can expect to see his previously teased tracks, “Riot,” “Nothing ‘Bout Loving You I’d Change,” “Drunk Or Dreaming,” and more on his upcoming project.

The upcoming 12-15 piece project will follow Brown’s ACM-nominated EP, Mixtape Vol. 1. – which was released in August 2021 via RCA Nashville/Zone 4. The EP has gone on to earn several hit singles including “Cool Again,” “Worldwide Beautiful” “Worship You” and his Top 40 radio single, “Be Like That” featuring Khalid and Swae Lee.

The singer/songwriter previously teased a slew of unreleased songs including an untitled rap song, “Leave You Alone,” “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” “Something I’d Love To See,” and more.

Over the course of the last few months, Brown has been teasing fans with small clips of unreleased songs on social media which we’ve recently compiled a list of songs he teased that we hope will appear on his forthcoming new album, which you can check out HERE.
