Kane Brown gushed over some of the upcoming talent in country music during a recent interview with CMT ahead of the 2020 CMT Music Awards.

The country superstar listed out some breakout stars he likes including Blanco Brown, Travis Denning, Gabby Barrett and Mickey Guyton.

“Blanco Brown, I worked with him before either of us were in the country genre,” Brown said.

“Travis Denning, I used to open for Travis Denning, which is awesome, I’m glad he’s getting to shine,” he continued.

“Mickey Guyton, I love her girl power, strong, so glad that people are getting to shine,” Brown added. “Of course, I love all of them.”

“Gabby Barrett’s got this super powerful voice, reminds me of a young Carrie Underwood. And I am excited for all of them,” Brown boasted.

The 2020 CMT Music Awards is set to air on Wednesday night (Oct. 21) on CMT and will feature performances from Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen, Noah Cyrus, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Brooks & Dunn, Maren Morris, Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt and Shania Twain as well as debut performances by Caylee Hammack, HARDY, Ingrid Andress, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green and Travis Denning.

Brown is set to co-host the awards ceremony alongside Ashley McBryde and Sarah Hyland. He will also be performing “Worship You” during the show.

The Awards are produced by CMT’s Margaret Comeaux, Switched On Entertainment’s John Hamlin and Amy Lin Johnson; the Executives in Charge of Production are Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino.
