Jonas Brothers delivered a poignant moment during the ninth televised fundraising special Stand Up To Cancer with the performance of their brand-new song, “I Can’t Lose.”

The sibling trio, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, took the stage to share how cancer has impacted their family. “Our family was shocked when our father, Kevin Jonas senior, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2017 after multiple procedures and treatments,” the group said collectively. “I’m happy to say that he has been in remission since 2018. The experience had an impact on all of us. It brought us closer, made us stronger as a family, and taught us the importance of early detection.”

Kevin Jonas went on to share how he was diagnosed with cancer last year. “So when I was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma in June of 2024, I was incredibly fortunate,” Kevin added. “Thanks to early detection in a great medical team, I had a successful procedure to remove the growth. So please make sure to get your moles checked.”

The Jonas Brothers then performed the heartfelt track, which they previously described as a tribute to “everyone affected by cancer.”

Jonas Brothers performance of “I Can’t Lose” struck a chord with viewers with their impressive harmonies and powerful lyrics.

“I can’t lose when I’m with you/ Oh-oh, you give me everything, everything that I need, everything that I need to keep smiling through-ooh-ooh/ I can’t lose when I’m with you/ Oh-oh, made out of magic and I gotta have it, I made it a habit to keep smiling through-ooh-ooh,” the Jonas Brothers sang in sync.

“We debuted ‘I Can’t Lose’ – a song about love, strength, and showing up for the people you love. Dedicated to all of those who Stand Up To Cancer,” the sibling trio previously shared in a statement. “Teaming up with Mastercard to uplift fans who’ve found hope and healing in our music means so much to us. ‘I Can’t Lose’ is a song we hope can carry different meanings for everyone who hears it and, for those who need it, a reminder of their own strength.”
