Jessie Murph had jaws dropping with her shocking red carpet date when she arrived to the 2025 ACM Awards on Thursday evening (May 8) and brought along a pig named Wilbur.

The “Blue Strips” singer turned heads on the red carpet in a baby pink satin ensemble, featuring fringe detailing that added a playful, eye-catching touch. Jessie Murph paid homage to Amy Winehouse with a voluminous 1960s-inspired beehive hairstyle, paired with silver earrings and soft, elegant glam. Her look was polished off with long French manicured nails.

Stealing the spotlight in her arms was her piglet, Wilbur, who wore a matching pink bow to perfectly complement her outfit.

Murph Talks About Her ACM Awards Red Carpet Date

Ahead of the ACM Awards, Jessie Murph opened up about her barnyard red carpet date during an interview with Country Now. “It’s a real pig. He’s a little guy. His name’s Wilbur,” she shared. “I just decided that I wanted a pig, and I’ve always wanted one my whole life. I’ve always wanted a mini pig, and then I find out that miniature pigs don’t exist.”

Jessie Murph is heading into the 60th ACM Awards as a first-time nominee in the New Female Artist of The Year category, alongside Dasha, Ashley Cooke, Kassi Ashton and Ella Langley, who ultimately took home the win.

“It was so mind-blowing. I was not expecting it. I don’t feel like I’m a country artist. I was a little bit like, what? But I’m happy to be here, and I’m happy to be here supporting everybody,” she previously admitted. She then revealed her reaction to being nominated and acknowledged that despite having country collaborations with Koe Wetzel and Bailey Zimmerman, she isn’t a country artist. “I think that’s why I was a little shocked because it’s a mix of a bunch of different things. It’s mostly just the stuff I grew up listening to. I’m from Alabama, so I heard a lot of country growing up, but I also heard a lot of rap and a lot of pop and all this stuff. So it’s just a culmination of all that, I’d say.”
