Jessie James Decker is showing off her panhandle paradise that she shares with her husband, Eric Decker, and the couple’s four kids. And one look inside the beautiful home will make fans feel like they’re on vacation!
The star recently appeared in an episode of Open House on YouTube, where she showcased her beach house, allowing fans to step inside the jaw-dropping space just feet away from the ocean in Panama City Beach, Florida.
“Come on in!” Decker gives a warm welcome in the nearly 6-minute clip before leading viewers to the main area of the home.
“It’s an open floor plan because we really wanted this to be the landing space where everybody hangs out,” she shared, later mentioning some of the ways she and her husband filled in the space to make it their own. “We’ve got this gorgeous bar here with the floating shelves. I wanted it to just feel fun. I didn’t want it to feel too stuffy.”
“I wanted you to feel like you could just come lay on the furniture,” she added of the plush linen-looking sofa and sitting area, which includes plenty of real-life plants in various locations. “I wanted it to feel warm, cozy, and earthy, but also really enhance the environment. So I wanted the palms, and I wanted the really cool beach little tchotchkes everywhere. I wanted it to feel thematic and feel different than our home back in Nashville. I think we did that.”
With its natural wood accents, floating shelves, and bright colors, the home away from the married couple’s Nashville abode offers relaxed coastal vibes all around, from the main floor to the outdoors to everywhere in between.
“These doors open completely, and it’s just you feel like you’re inside and outside at the same time,” Decker says as she pulls apart the sliding doors that lead to a private patio that overlooks the Florida panhandle. “The water is just this beautiful emerald color, and the sand feels like sugar under your feet.”

When walking through the kitchen, Decker, who has released two cookbooks, exclaims, “I needed it to be perfect for me…. I wanted it to be not only beautiful but functional.”
The beautiful part of the cooking area includes bamboo-style chandeliers, a ginormous black stone island, and a six-burner stove. Due to the open-air aesthetic, the kitchen leads to the dining area, which features a stunning table arrangement.
“So, obviously, we can’t talk about the dining room without talking about the dining table,” Decker shares. “I wanted this table to have that really nice dark black color. The chairs are a great leather, easy to clean, and we’re always entertaining. So I needed it to be large and be able to fit a lot of people over here.”
“Funny enough, this super large pendant almost didn’t make it,” she adds, referring to the decor hovering over the table. “My husband thought it was going to be a little too big for this room. But I’m really glad that we did it, and it really is its own little moment.”

The big finishing touch that adds magic to the main bedroom is the view of the Gulf of America, formerly the Gulf of Mexico.
“Eric and I leave these doors open all night long so we can hear those waves crashing,” Decker says of when the spouses spend time in their beach pad. “This is truly my favorite room in the entire house. And now, for the bathroom, I really wanted our bathroom here to feel like a spa, which is why we have the really earthy tones. Again, all the neutrals. We’ve got this beautiful waterfall edge marble here, and, of course, a huge shower because I have a huge husband who needs a lot of space. And of course, there’s plenty of room for me to join, too.”
Indeed, this home features breathtaking views and plenty of sunshine, but the slice of heaven is a much more personal place for Decker. It’s a dream come true. So much so that to have a place in Panama City to call home has always been something she has wanted because her family used to visit the area when she was a kid.
“The panhandle is really special to me and my family,” Decker shares. “I grew up coming here to this area, and I always thought, okay, maybe one day I can grow up and have a dream beach house here. And I do now. There’s just nothing like it. It’s my happy place, truly.”
