Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville, located at 209 Broadway in Downtown Nashville, is officially open! Goodnight Nashville, a four-story venue created in collaboration with Evening Entertainment Group (EEG), is the first celebrity-backed concept in Music City from a Nashville native.

“As we set out to create EEG’s first venue in Nashville, we knew there was no better person to partner with than a true hometown hero like Jelly Roll,” Les Corieri, co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group, said. “Goodnight Nashville is more than just a place to grab a drink — it’s an experience where music, culture, and hospitality meet. Nashville has always been a vibrant city of energy and creativity, and we’re excited to be part of that spirit, bringing something new to the scene.”

Goodnight Nashville is Lower Broadway’s newest addition will feature burgers, spirits and tattoos. The tattoo-themed establishment, situated between Bootleggers and Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse, will be opened seven days a week with hours varying by floor.

First Nashville Native To Have Bar On Broadway

Jelly Roll becomes the first Nashville native to open a bar on Lower Broadway with Goodnight Nashville.

“I hope people who are from Nashville feel the way I felt about my name being on that building. It just feels like one of our own is finally getting a piece of our own. I’m the first Nashville kid to have a bar. It’s a big deal,” Jelly Roll told Nashville Lifestyles in a recent interview. “And I love where it’s at. The local kid in me got the best of both worlds because I’m on Broadway, but I’m almost to the corner of Second and Broadway. When I was your age, Second Avenue is where we would party.”

Dedicated 2nd Floor To His Wife, Bunnie XO

Goodnight Nashville has an entire floor (2nd Floor) dedicated to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, with a bar dubbed Bunnie XO’s. The floor features a larger-than-life image of Bunnie XO posed in her lingerie above the bar, as well as her signature Bunnie XO logo and an “In Hoes We Trust” sign.

Bunnie XO’s floor of the establishment delivers a nightlife atmosphere similar to a Las Vegas club, honoring The Dumb Blonde Podcast host’s Sin City roots while blending in the vibe of a Music City honky-tonk.

The Bunnie XO floor also includes a stage for live DJs, a massive bar and vibrant nightclub style lighting as well as plush booths and VIP table reservations.

Honors His Late Father, Horace “Buddy” DeFord

The third floor honors Jelly Roll’s late father, Horace “Buddy” DeFord, who passed away on March 20, 2019, after battling leukemia, with a bar called “Buddy’s Backroom.”

Buddy’s Backroom features an upscale, speakeasy-style venue that serves craft cocktails and a limited handselected food menu in a more intimate setting. Primarily reserved for private events and Jelly Roll’s personal use, Buddy’s Backroom will occasionally open to the public for a more exclusive nightlife experience.

“It was also important to me to have a private bar there and it’s named after my late father; it’s called Buddy’s Backroom,” Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, shared with Nashville Lifestyles. “It’ll be open to the public for limited times a day to come and enjoy, but it’s kind of a speakeasy cigar bar. I wanted to create a safe space for my artist friends or people who might want to go out and have a night not as crazy. I know a lot of locals that want to go to Broadway without the headache, and I think Buddy’s will provide an opportunity for us to do that for our local people, too.”

In addition to paying tribute to his late father with a entire floor dedicated to him, Goodnight Nashville also offers a dessert called “Dad’s Key Lime Pie,” crafted with his father’s personal Key Lime Pie recipe (Key Lime Pie with vanilla whip cream and a graham cracker crust).

Highest Rooftop On Broadway

The drink menu also features signature cocktails inspired by songs like “Save Me,” “Son of a Sinner,” and others.
