Jelly Roll penned a heartfelt message to his wife, Bunnie XO (Bunnie DeFord), in honor of her 43rd Birthday.

The “Son Of A Sinner” singer, whose real name is Jason DeFord, took to social media on Sunday evening (Jan. 22) to wish his “beautiful” bride a happy birthday. The country hitmaker shared a photo of his wife alongside a genuine message from the heart for her.

“Happy Birthday Beautiful— it’s hard to accurately articulate how much you have truly changed my life,” Jelly Roll began.

He went on to explain that he can’t even begin to put into words (or lyrics) how much he loves the Dumb Blonde podcast host.

“A million words and a thousand songs could never do justice for the feelings I have for you,” he continued. “A hundred of pictures and thousands of videos could never get people to truly understand our bond and how deep our love truly runs. The best I can offer is a lifetime of service to you…”

The genre-bending artist then praised his wife’s success, while promising that he will always be her biggest fan and supporter.

“You’re a gangster yet gentle and kind. I’m so proud of who you are becoming,” Jelly Roll added. “Watching you grow and build the Dumb Blonde business has been incredible to watch from the front row, and know for the rest of your life, I’ll be right here cheering you on and making corny birthday posts… love you beautiful.”

Jelly Roll And Bunnie Met In 2015 And Got Married In 2016

Jelly Roll, 38, and Bunnie, 43, first met at one of the Nashville native’s concerts on Fremont Street in Las Vegas at The Country Saloon in 2015. Nearly a year later, the couple tied the knot on August 31, 2016.

In 2022, the beloved couple made their red carpet debut at the 56th Annual CMA Awards.

Jelly Roll recently earned his first-ever No. 1 at Country radio with “Son Of A Sinner,” which follows his two-week No. 1 hit at rock radio, “Dead Man Walking.”

Bunnie’s Dumb Blonde podcast took the No. 1 spot at the same time that Jelly Roll’s song sat atop the Country radio chart.

“Not only did my husband’s song ”Son of a Sinner” just hit #1 on country radio,” Bunnie XO wrote on Facebook at the time. ”My podcast is sitting at #1 for the first time ever! 😭 We both hit #1 at the same time – TOGETHER. Wild how the universe works. 😭”

Jelly Roll Is Working On His First-Ever Country Album

He is currently working on a brand-new album, which will feature his latest single “NEED A FAVOR” and “She.” The forthcoming new project will serve as Jelly Roll’s first full length Country project.

During a recent interview with Music Mayhem, Jelly Roll opened up about his debut Country album, which he said is expected to arrive in “April or May [of 2023].”

“I’m really proud of it. I’m going to have some features on it. It’s a country record for sure,” he told us. “It’ll be my debut country album. I’m kind of really excited about taking my first real big leap into the genre. I think ‘Son of a Sinner’ was just kind of showing people what I could do, but we also got some real kind of rock records on there, some real kind of rocky records on there. And we’ll have a couple of songs where I’m spitting a little bit too. So it’s still true to Jelly Roll for sure.”

Additionally, Jelly Roll’s new project will serve as the follow-up to his 2021 album, Ballads Of The Broken, which includes the chart-topping hits “Son Of a Sinner” and “Dead Man Walking” as well as fan-favorite tunes such as “Sober,” “Empty House,” and more.
