Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO made their presence known on the 2023 CMA Awards red carpet in matching all-black ensembles.
The genre-bending star upped his fashion game tonight as he donned a satin suit and dress pants with an elegant paisley design. He accessorized the look with a dazzling cross necklace.
Standing right by his side is his stunning wife who turned heads in her long black gown covered in a pattern of glamorous rhinestones. She paired tonight’s outfit with sheer black sleeves and a black bow that added a pop of color in her light blonde hair.
Celebrating Seven Years of Marriage
This appearance comes just a few months after the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. They came together at an intimate vow renewal ceremony at A Stained Glass Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, the same chapel they got married at in 2016.
Sharing a look inside the special moment with fans via social media, Bunnie penned a heartfelt letter to her hubby and reflected on their full-circle moment. In the post, she recalled the night they first said “I do” and the promise that Jelly Roll made to her that memorable evening.
“Before we stumbled in that chapel, you grabbed my hands & looked me straight in the eyes & said, ‘Bunnie, our lives won’t always be like this. You won’t have to do what you do for much longer, we’re going to figure this out. I promise you.’”
She admitted that she had “no idea” what life would throw at them after their wedding day, but knew she could tackle anything as long as she had Jelly Roll by her side. So far, they have each stayed true to their love for one another, especially as Jelly Roll continues to rise in fame and Bunnie dives into her own business endeavors with her podcast named The Dumb Blonde Podcast.
The pair have been together since 2015 when they met at one of the Nashville native’s concerts on Fremont Street in Las Vegas at The Country Saloon. Nearly a year later, they tied the knot on August 31, 2016.
Jelly Roll To Open “Country Music’s Biggest Night”
Jelly Roll’s date night will extend into Bridgestone Arena, where he will open “Country Music’s Biggest Night” with a performance of his chart-topping single, “Need A Favor.” Later he will return to the stage and deliver a rendition of The Judds’ “Love Can Build a Bridge” alongside first-time CMA Awards performer, K. Michelle.
Additionally, the country star has secured five nods in the categories of Single Of The Year (“NEED A FAVOR”), Male Vocalist Of The Year, Musical Event Of The Year (“Save Me” with Lainey Wilson) and Music Video Of The Year (“NEED A FAVOR”).
57th Annual CMA Awards
Co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, the 57th Annual CMA Awards are set to air live tonight on ABC (8:00-11:00 PM/EST). Michelle, plus special duets from Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion and Megan Moroney, and Little Big Town with Tanya Tucker.
