Post Malone recently revealed that he’s the latest celebrity opening a bar on Lower Broadway in Nashville, joining an elite group that includes Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Alan Jackson, Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley and more.
Jason Aldean Reacts To Post Malone Opening A Nashville Bar
Malone’s new establishment will be located in the former home of Tequila Cowboy, which happens to be right underneath Aldean’s Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar. During CMA Fest last week in Nashville, Aldean chatted with Hadley Hitson, a business reporter at The Tennessean, who asked him how he felt about his almost-new neighbor. “I guess it’s fine,” he joked. “Post is alright. He’s a pretty good guy.”
On a more serious note, Aldean added, “I’m excited. Nashville is booming right now, and obviously you go downtown… on any given night down there, really on the weekend especially, it’s packed. So it’s gonna be fun.”
He also praised Malone’s integration into the country music community, sharing that he’s become good friends with a number of artists in the genre and helped bring country music to a wider audience.
“Post has kind of carved out his niche here in town and got a lot of friends in town, a lot of artists,” Aldean continued. “We love him. He’s one that we’ve kind of welcomed in, ‘Yeah, we like him, he’s good, come on in.’ So we’re excited to have him, and we’re glad that he’s kicking around the country music scene right now. I think it’s good for the genre and kind of fun.”

Where Is Post Malone Opening A Bar On Lower Broadway In Nashville?
Along with the space previously occupied by Tequila Cowboy, Malone’s bar will also extend to the former Wannabe’s Karaoke Bar. That will give the bar Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, clocking in at 26,000 square feet. The new honky-tonk will feature six bars, three live music stages, a full-service dining room and a rooftop, plus plenty of Posty memorabilia.
“We’ve created a space where everyone can come together and kick some ass,” the singer previously said in a statement. “Nashville has really become a second home for me, so I can’t wait to invite y’all over to my house.”
Post Malone’s Music City Establishment Comes In Partnership With TC Restaurant Group
Posty teamed up with TC Restaurant Group for his new establishment, which is the same company behind Aldean’s Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, Luke’s 32 Bridge and several other bars on the Lower Broadway strip.
“We’re honored to work with someone as dynamic as he is and create a venue that embodies his spirit and brings a new experience to Nashville’s Entertainment District,” shared Adam Hesler, President and CEO of TC Restaurant Group. “There’s only one reason we would consider expanding our artist partnerships, and that is to have the ability to partner with someone of the caliber, innovation and authenticity of Post. His talent and ability to transcend multiple genres is one of a kind, and we look forward to creating a venue that resonates with his global fan base.”

Post Malone began making his mark on country music with his hit Morgan Wallen collaboration “I Had Some Help,” which preceded his 2024 album, F-1 Trillion. The project hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has been supported by two massive treks: The F-1 Trillion Tour and BIG ASS Stadium Tour.
Post Malone is also no stranger to Nashville, having spent plenty of time in Music City over the years. He’s been spotted at local favorites like Red Door Saloon and Loser’s Bar & Grill in Midtown, where he’s even performed and celebrity guest bartended. Last year, he also filmed the music video for “Guy For That” with Luke Combs on Lower Broadway.
