Jameson Rodgers gave Luke Combs a special gift to celebrate their chart-topping hit, “Cold Beer Calling My Name.”
The 34-year-old Mississippi native surprised Combs with the gift of a championship belt, a trophy typically given to professional wrestlers to signify their win. Rodgers got the championship belt custom-made for Combs to celebrate their chart-topping hit.
“And the new tag team champs are… Swipe 👉🏼 for a close up of the belt I got for this ole boy,” Rodgers wrote alongside a photo of him and the North Carolina in Combs Tennessee man cave, who is seen wearing the belt across his shoulder.
The championship belt given to Combs is branded with the name of the song, “Cold Beer Calling My Name,” as well as ‘No. 1 MB & Billboard Single’ and both of the artists names. The belt also read ‘back-to-back No. 1s’ with two beer mugs, and the date of the song’s release as well as when it hit No. 1.
Rodgers and Combs‘ “Cold Beer Calling My Name” went No. 1 on October 4, 2021.
At the time the two country superstars took to social media to share the news with fans and celebrate. The song topped both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
“The only thing better than writing a No. 1 song is writing a No. 1 song with your friends,” Rodgers previously said. “I can’t believe we get to do this for a living. I’m proud of this song and this team.”
Co-written by Rodgers alongside Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym, “Cold Beer Calling My Name” is the second single from Rodgers’ debut studio album, Bet You’re from a Small Town.
“It’s a fun, easy song, and I thought it’d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Combs, I asked Luke if he’d like to sing on it – I know he’s a cold beer drinker like myself – and luckily it worked out and I’m excited for everybody to hear it,” Rodgers said of the song.

Rodgers is in the process of working on new music, and seems to currently be on a songwriter’s retreat with Combs, Ray Fulcher and HARDY. He is also performing at several upcoming festivals, including Country Thunder Arizona, Clovis Rodeo, Pearl Day 2022, KNCI Country In The Park 2022 and more.
Meanwhile, Luke Combs is preparing to welcome his first child, a baby boy, with his wife Nicole Hocking Combs. The North Carolina native is also gearing up to release his yet-to-be announced third studio album later this year.
