Following the release of “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Elle King,  Miranda Lambert is teasing new music and fans are speculating that it could be a red dirt Texas country album.

“Every time I need an escape, I go to Marfa, TX. Jack Ingram and Jon Randall come. We recharge. We get inspired by its beauty. We write songs,” the country superstar shared on Wednesday, March 3 via Instagram. “Tin Man was the 1st one we shared with you. Tequila Does was the 2nd. In between, we’ve written 13 more. And it’s about time to start sharing them with y’all.”

The “Tequila Does” singer then added a countdown to her Instagram story that leads to Thursday, March 4 at 8:00 a.m. However, neither she or the songwriters shared any additional details of what is coming, but fans are speculating a 13-track album or EP with a new song releasing soon.

Randall and Ingram also shared similar messages to their social media platforms. Randall added, “Marfa, TX holds a special place in our hearts. Inspired by its serene beauty, @jackingram @mirandalambert and I wrote Tin Man and Tequila Does here. We continued to dive deeper into the songwriting process and we came up with 13 more songs.”

“Marfa, TX. The place you go to escape, get inspired, and write songs,” Ingram added. “At least that’s what @mirandalambert, @jonrandallmusic, and I do. Tin Man was the 1st song we shared with you. Tequila Does was the 2nd. In between, we’ve written 13 more.”

Earlier this month, on March 2, Lambert teased fans by sharing a photo of her and the two songwriters outside in Texas with blankets and guitars, captioning the photo: “What are we doing? Nobody knows. But we know we are supposed to be doing it.”

Texas natives Lambert, Ingram and Randall are the same songwriting trio that wrote some of Lambert’s hits including “Tequila Does,” from her latest album, Wildcard, as well as “Tin Man,” a track that won ACM Song Of The Year in 2018.

Additionally, Lambert is set to return to her homestate of Texas to perform a brief concert residency at Billy Bob’s Texas on April 22-24 and May 1-2.
