Hundreds of celebrities are joining forces to help support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with the new navy This Shirt Saves Lives t-shirt, sharing the message of hope for children and their families facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Since its launch in 2017, the ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ campaign has become a social media sensation, with nearly one million shirts distributed to date.

Now in its sixth year, the campaign has grown to include thousands of supporters who share images and messages with #ThisShirtSavesLives on their social channels.

This year, artists including Thomas Rhett, Carly Pearce, Jason Aldean and Kelsea Ballerini are encouraging fans to join them in becoming a Partner in Hope for St. Jude.

Rhett called the kids of St. Jude “little superheroes” in an Instagram post, saying “I’m proud to wear #ThisShirtSavesLives and support the little superheroes at @stjude fighting cancer. Join me in helping these kids and get your shirt at MusicGives.org 🙏 #MusicGives”

Throughout the year, more than 300 radio stations around the country also host radiothons to support the campaign and ask listeners to become a Partner in Hope. This annual series of nationwide radiothons is part of the Music Gives to St. Jude Kids campaign that connects music lovers to the mission of St. Jude.

Based in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital leads the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped increase the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80% – with no plans to stop until no child dies from cancer.

St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes to help doctors and researchers at local hospitals and cancer centers around the world improve the quality of treatment and care for even more children. Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.

St. Jude treats children from all 50 states and around the world. Since a majority of St. Jude funding comes from generous donors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most—saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
