From welcoming a baby into the world to dropping new music, HARDY’s plate is full, but that doesn’t mean he’s not adding more to his already hectic schedule. It turns out the country/rocker is doing just that, but, for now, he’s only sharing, with the fans, a few details on what he has in store.

HARDY Teases Secret New Music Project

During a recent interview with Music Mayhem, the 34-year-old Philadelphia, Mississippi native revealed he’s been working on something that’s “completely different” from the norm, hinting that his new venture is something he hasn’t quite done before.

“I actually have something that I cannot talk about, but it’s something that’s completely different, and it’s not under my name,” HARDY divulged while keeping the actual news of the project under wraps. “It’s just something that is very different,” he added. “But I’m hoping within the next year it will be released. And I can’t talk about it, but it is something completely and totally different.”

Hints It May Involve Artificial Intelligence (AI)

HARDY, then, assured that the project is still “music related,” suggesting that he isn’t leaving music behind or stepping into a whole new career. But added, “It has a little bit to do with AI, which some people are like, eh, but it’s really cool and very different.”

While vague about his obscure upcoming plans, there’s no doubt the award-winning singer/songwriter is building up some excitement about his forthcoming undertaking with the fans. And though people may have to wait a little longer to find out what HARDY is actually referring to, there’s plenty of other HARDY-related news to focus on. After all, at this point, the 34-year-old “Jim Bob” singer has a busy slate.

And he is open about that.

Recently Welcomed His First Child And Released His New COUNTRY! EP

In March, he and his wife, Caleigh Ryan Hardy, welcomed their first child, a baby girl they named Rosie Ryan Hardy. Their daughter entered the world, weighing nine pounds, two ounces, as shared in a sweet post on Caleigh’s Instagram page. On top of that, HARDY recently released his EP entitled COUNTRY!. The project, which arrived on May 2 via Big Loud Records, features five tracks. They are “Buck On The Wall,” “Car That Drove You Away,” “Girl With A Gun,” “Luckiest Man Alive,” and “Favorite Country Song.”

The collection gives listeners a sneak preview of HARDY’s next record. Additionally, HARDY recently launched his JIM BOB WORLD TOUR, which includes openers Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., and McCoy Moore. The trek, which launched on May 22, currently runs through Sept. 24, with its final show taking place in New York at Madison Square Garden.

“As far as Hardy is concerned, I’m touring,” HARDY acknowledged. “I’ve got an album coming out, obviously later this year. And if I’m being honest, I’ll probably start writing some rock music or just some ‘the Crow’ type stuff and put that out probably late fall, maybe around Christmas. But I’m really excited about this weird thing that I’m working on that I can’t talk about at all. But it’s happening, and it’s going to be cool.”
