HARDY made the difficult decision to cancel his upcoming European leg of the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR.

HARDY Cancels European Leg Of JIM BOB WORLD TOUR

The genre-bending superstar took to social media on Monday morning (June 16) to share the unfortunate news of the cancellation with fans via a statement.

“I have decided to cancel the European leg of the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR. It wasn’t an easy decision, but one I had to make for my band, crew and my family,” the “Favorite Country Song” singer’s statement began. “Please know that I love you all, and I will be back as soon as I can.”

The European leg of the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR was initially scheduled to take place from June 19 through July 3, with performances planned in Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. The trek was slated to be HARDY’s European debut.

Refunds Will Automatically Be Issued Via Point Of Purchase

HARDY has not officially disclosed the reason behind the tour cancellation, but the decision comes at a time of increasing tension in the Middle East. The announcement closely follows remarks made by former President Donald Trump on Sunday (June 15), regarding the potential for U.S. involvement in Israel’s ongoing conflict with Iran.

Fans who purchased tickets to the European leg of the JIM BOB WORLD TOUR will automatically be issued refunds at the point of purchase, according to the award-winning singer/songwriter’s social media statement.

Trek Comes In Support Of New EP, COUNTRY!

The trek comes in support of HARDY’s latest project, COUNTRY!, which arrived on April 11 via Big Loud Records. The five-track EP finds HARDY returning to his Country roots and will feature “Favorite Country Song,” “Buck On The Wall,” “Car That You Drove Away,” “Girl With A Gun” and “Luckiest Man Alive.”

“I really wanted the album done before [the] tour. So to speak candidly, these are just five songs that are going to be pretty much that I have recorded for an entire album,” HARDY shared of his decision to release a five-track EP. “I put my foot down with my label, and I was like, I really, really want to have music out before the tour. Because I want to be able to play three or four of these songs so that people have something new to expect. So anyway, I just picked four or five of my favorites and they’re all my favorite. But I think these are just a good precursor or a good sign of things to come with the rest of the album.”

COUNTRY! serves as a “precursor” to an even larger project, which is expected to arrive later this year. The project follows the release of his first live project, HARDY (Live From Red Rocks), and his chart-topping album, Quit!!, which featured the fan-favorite tunes such as “ROCKSTAR,” “JIM BOB,” “PSYCHO,” “SIX FEET UNDER (Caleigh’s Song)” and more.
