HARDY brought a rowdy performance of his latest single “Truck Bed” to the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards on Thursday (Sept. 28).
The chart-topping singer/songwriter launched his performance in the back of a truck bed outside the Opry before making his way to the Grand Ole Opry stage to finish his energy-filled performance of the tune, which just cracked the Top 40 at Country radio.
“I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning/ With a bone dry bottle of Jack I was pouring/ Damn, she got some nerve, when she kicked me to the curb/ Guess you can say I got what I deserve/ ‘Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning, yeah,” HARDY sang on the tune’s chorus.

the mockingbird & THE CROW is half rock and half country and was recorded between Ocean Way and Blackbird Studios in Nashville, entirely produced by Joey Moi with co-production by HARDY and Derek Wells, and co-production on select tracks by David Garcia, Jordan Schmidt, Ben Johnson, Andrew Wade, Jeremy McKinnon, and Cody Quistad.
