Gwen Stefani gushed over her husband Blake Shelton, saying that marrying him was one of the greatest moments of her life.

During an interview on the Tell Me About It with Jade Iovine podcast on Tuesday (July 20), the superstar admits that she is feeling “total honeymoon vibes right now.” The interview marked Stefani’s first discussion post-wedding.

Stefani gushed of her and Shelton’s special day with the podcast, sharing that “It was literally the greatest moment… one of the greatest moments of my life, obviously.”

“It was beyond what I thought it was gonna be,” the bride said of the Carson Daly-officiated wedding. “It was beyond dreamy. But I think the crazy part was it was just so unexpected in my life.”

Shelton’s wife continued to gush over how happy she is with her life right now.

“I just feel so lucky. One of those things you think about a lot in your life is you don’t know the future and you don’t know what’s gonna happen, but I feel like my spiritual journey has really guided me towards this place and this place of peace,” Stefani said.

“Now I need to figure out how to do the rest of my life,” she added while laughing.

When talking about Shelton, she said “that man is the same guy you see, no matter who he’s with, what he’s doing. I look at him sleeping, and he’s the same guy. And he’s very real and consistent and genuine. It’s what is so attractive and why people love him so much.”

The newlyweds recently made their first public performances since their wedding, including a live performance at Ole Red Tishomingo for what Shelton called “tour rehearsals,” where the couple performed their duets as well as some No Doubt classics.

Then their official performance debut as a married couple was during Country Thunder in Wisconsin, where they celebrated their two week wedding anniversary. During their performance at the festival, the perfect pairing performed their duets and some No Doubt hits together for a sold out crowd.

After six years together, country superstar, Shelton, 45, and No Doubt singer, 51, exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony in front of their closest family and friends. The elegant ceremony took place inside a chapel on Shelton’s ranch, built exclusively for the superstar couple to say their “I Do’s.”

This is Stefani’s second marriage following her high-profile marriage to BUSH frontman Gavin Rossdale and Shelton’s third marriage. The “Minimum Wage” singer was previously married to Miranda Lambert and Kaynette Gern.

Shelton and Stefani got engaged back in late October 2020 in Shelton’s hometown of Oklahoma. They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their public breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice.

The couple has gone on to release four duets together throughout their relationship thus far, including “Nobody But You,” “Happy Anywhere” and more.
