Gary Allan welcomed a new pet into his family, a puppy.

On Friday morning, April 1, Allan took to social media to introduce fans to his new puppy, who is named after “Crazy” singer and country music icon, Patsy Cline.

“Meet miss Patsy Cline,” Allan captioned a series of photos of his new dog, whose breed is currently undisclosed, on Instagram.

The post features shows two photos, the first being his new black and white puppy wearing a bow tie. The second is a photo of the dog standing in front of him, looking happy, wagging her tail.

In 2021, Gary Allan Bid Farewell To His Beloved Goldendoodle Lucy

Last year, Allan said goodbye to one of his beloved dogs, a Goldendoodle named Lucy, who Allan often took out on the road with him and has even appeared on stage during his live shows.

“RIP Lucy!! Lost a great one today, you’ll always be missed,” he wrote at the time of Lucy’s passing.

“She travels with me and comes onstage each night during our encore,” Allan previously told Go San Angelo

Gary Allan Has Several Other Dogs

Allan’s new addition, Patsy Cline, will join several of the country hitmaker’s other pups.

In 2019, the “Watching Airplanes” hitmaker shared a photo of his dogs, which he captioned, “Family shot!!”

Allan recently released his new album, Ruthless, marking his first new music since 2013’s Set You Free.

The project went on to become his ninth Top 10 album, which he took to social media in July 2021 to thank fans for getting it there.

“Thank you to my fans for making Ruthless number one on the current country album charts and number eight on the Billboard country album charts,” Allan said in a short video clip at the time. “This is my ninth Top 10 album and it’s all because of you guys. Thank you for supporting me. Keep on listening to ‘Ruthless.’”

Additionally, the multi-platinum country superstar purchased a new home in fall 2021. The new home happens to have been previously owned by late country icon, Conway Twitty.

“I’ve lived next to this house since 2003 and I was renovating my house and I asked if I could tear some trees down in between our property, and they said ‘yeah, we’re moving to Florida, so we don’t care.’ I was like, ‘Wow! Are you going to sell it?’ And they said, ‘yeah,’ and I think I bought it within like three or four texts,” Allan recently revealed.

Allan is currently on the road and has lots of tour dates already on the calendar.
