Gary Allan’s latest album, Ruthless, is officially No. 1!
The country hitmaker and California native shared a video message thanking fans for the success of his latest project, his tenth studio album, Ruthless. The album climbed the charts upon release and currently sits atop the current Country Album Chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Country Album charts, the achievement marks Allan’s ninth Top 10 album.
“Thank you to my fans for making Ruthless number one on the current country album charts and number eight on the Billboard country album charts,” Allan said in a short video clip shared to social media. “This is my ninth Top 10 album and it’s all because of you guys. Thank you for supporting me. Keep on listening to ‘Ruthless.’”

The news comes just weeks after Allan celebrated the release of Ruthless, his first new album in eight years, with a sold-out show in Nashville at Fifth & Broadway’s Food Assembly Hall.
Ruthless is Allen’s first studio album since 2013’s Set You Free.
“This is a montage of everything I have done since my last album,” Allan previously shared of Ruthless. “It’s what I love. I remain influenced by the ‘90s — as well as by the ‘80s. Twenty-six tracks were cut for this album. Then I went back to the studio and recorded three or four more tracks. Then I returned for two more. From each of these many sessions, I stripped out the cool stuff that I wanted on the record.”
Additionally, the multi-platinum country superstar recently purchased a new home. The new home happens to have been previously owned by late country icon, Conway Twitty.
“I’ve lived next to this house since 2003 and I was renovating my house and I asked if I could tear some trees down in between our property, and they said ‘yeah, we’re moving to Florida, so we don’t care.’ I was like, ‘Wow! Are you going to sell it?’ And they said, ‘yeah,’ and I think I bought it within like three or four texts,” Allan recently revealed.
