Brad Paisley kicked off his highly-anticipated summer tour last night in Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place Amphitheater.
On Thursday (July 8) evening, the country superstar and West Virginia native kicked off his 30-date tour. The electrifying 26-song concert included some of Paisley’s biggest hits such as “She’s Everything,” “Then,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song),” “Remind Me,” and his latest single “City Of Music.”
The set also featured a tribute to Eddie Van Halen with a cover of Van Halen’s “Hot For Teacher,” as well as covers of Alabama’s “Mountain Music” and a collaborative performances of “I’m Still A Guy” with Kameron Marlowe and “Freedom Was A Highway” with Jimmie Allen, both who serve as support on the trek. See the full setlist below.
“It feels so surreal to be back on tour. We’ve waited over 15 months for this. But, we’re back…and we will see you soon in your town,” Paisley shared on Instagram, later adding, “We’re back and it feels so good. Jacksonville, thank you for kicking off our tour!”
A portion of all ticket sales from Tour 2021 will benefit The Store, a non-profit free-referral based grocery store co-founded by the country singer and his wife Kimberly. According to Billboard, “the Store opened for in-store clients on March 12, 2020 following the March 3 tornado that devastated parts of Nashville and pivoted to curbside and home delivery to help the elderly during the global health crisis.”
