Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks will launch his new Las Vegas residency on May 18, and there will be a strict no cell phone policy enforced.

According to an update from Ticketmaster, the Garth Brooks/Plus ONE residency is a “phone-free experience.”

No Cell Phones allowed

Upon entering the show, attendees will be forced to put their phones in a locked Yondr pouch for the duration of the event. If a situation should arise where a guest needs to use their phone, they must visit a specified phone-use area where their phones will be unlocked for use and then re-locked before they can return to the performance. When the show is over, the case will be unlocked as guests exit.

The Ticketmaster website states: “Anyone caught using a cellphone during the performance will be removed from the venue.”

Fans To Receive A Free Photo Gift

Those hoping to have photos from the Garth Brooks performance will be provided with “a special free gift” of professional photos via a QR code that will be given to concertgoers upon entry.

“In our hyperconnected world, we provide a haven to engage with what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with. In physical space and real time,” the Yondr website reads.

Yondr has been used by The Lumineers, Childish Gambino, Dave Chappelle, Jack White, Chris Rock, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Adele, Beyoncé, Bob Dylan, John Mayer, and more.

Attendees Are Permitted To Stand

The “Important Event Info” on the Ticketmaster website states that guests are permitted to stand during Brooks’ performance. The age recommendation for the show is ages 6 and up.

Brooks’ show will take place at the 4,100-seat The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, in the heart of the famed Las Vegas Strip.

“My whole life I have heard the saying, ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’ Well, thanks to God and the people, ours was. Truly grateful and unapologetically excited,” Brooks said.

Garth Brooks/Plus ONE kicks off on May 18 and continues through June, July, November and December of 2023.

“Vegas is the place where anything goes, and The Colosseum at Caesars is the heart of Vegas,” said Garth Brooks. “The perfect combination to present a show that will not only push the envelope, it’s gonna shred it.”

Once-In-A-Lifetime Performance

Brooks promises his Las Vegas residency will give fans the opportunity to see him in an intimate setting on The Colosseum stage, where he promises to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance each and every night.

Each show will be unique, and no two shows will be the same, with varying band members and an occasional special guest. Whether it be one fiddle player, percussion and background vocals, or the whole band, each song, as well as every performance, will be a special and a shared experience night after night for Garth and his audience.

“Having Garth Brooks, one of the greatest of all time, bring his tremendous talent and an entirely new show to The Colosseum only adds to the remarkable legacy of Caesars Palace,” said Anthony Carano, President and Chief Operating Officer for Caesars Entertainment. “We are confident that Garth Brooks/Plus ONE will be an unforgettable live entertainment experience for our guests, and we are honored that he’s chosen to join the Caesars Entertainment family.”

No Stranger To Las Vegas

The country icon is no stranger to Las Vegas and has quite a history in the Entertainment Capital Of The World. From 2009 to 2014, Brooks headlined an acoustic show at Encore Theater at The Wynn. He later returned to Sin City for four shows at the T-Mobile Arena in June/July of 2016.

In August of 2020, Brooks made history at Allegiant Stadium when he became the first country artist to ever headline the massive stadium, which is home to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brooks returned to Vegas with “One Man Show,” an intimate performance at Dolby Live in February of 2022.
