Gabby Barrett surprised fan with her first-ever Christmas song “The First Noel” on Friday (Oct. 23).
The “I Hope” singer joined fellow country artists like Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Runaway June and more who’ve released holiday music this year.
“I’m so happy to release my first Christmas song today,” says Barrett. “Christmas is one of my absolute favorite days of the year, and my faith is the cornerstone of my life, so being able to share both with ‘The First Noel’ is a gift. I feel so blessed to do what I do every day, and I hope that this song adds something special to your holidays.”

Barrett is also slated to appear on for KING & COUNTRY’s upcoming holiday album, A Drummer Boy Christmas, singing a Christmas tune entitled “Go Tell It On The Mountain.”
She previously performed “The First Noel” for the President Of The United States during the 96th National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in 2018 on the Ellipse in President’s Park.
