Frontman of SHVPES, Griffin Dickinson (son to Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson) tweeted that a fan had died and has since removed them from the internet, below is what he had to say:
Last night at a BMTH show I saw a kid die. He was carried out by 3 dudes & paramedics tried to resuscitate him to no avail. Please please please look out for people around you. Don’t leave it up for someone else. If someone looks unwell, CHECK on them… (1/2 tweets)
In any situation, on a tube, at a gig, whatever. I feel like British ‘awkwardness’ gets in the way of helping people. Don’t be afraid to call an ambulance. Don’t act like it ain’t your business. ACT on it. Rest in peace to that dude. Thoughts are with his family rn. (2/2 tweets)

what happened at alexandra palace last night is heartbreaking. if the correct security measures had been in place to keep people safe this could’ve been prevented. i’m so angered that the venue was even allowed to operate in that state. rest in peace to those who lost their lives

im not going to say exactly what happened on here bc it isn’t my place to but i will say this:
Alexandra palace needs to be shut down until ALL of their security go through intensive training. it isn’t fucking okay to have irresponsible, untrained security at big venues.— elle (@forgetregrett) December 1, 2018
Alexandra Palace needs to be shut down to undergo major training and alternative safety procedures. it’s never been the best venue but last night was a fucking all time low. it’s not my place to say anything that happened but concerts are meant to be safe and fun not dangerous.

I’d like to take a moment to discuss the fact that someone died during Bring Me The Horizon last night at Alexandra Palace. I sat in the medical room with my friend and looked outside to see a literal dead body being wheeled in to ambulance, something which 1. has traumatised me

last night at bring me the horizon in Alexandra Palace two fans died because there was only nine security members on staff and 10,000 fans

Apparently two fans died at a bring me the horizon concert. When in a crowd look out for each other, take care of each other!!! So sad 🙁

I’d appreciate if everyone had some respect for the loss of a young mans life. Paramedics did all they could and we are grateful for their efforts.
Security? Can’t say the same. #bmth #bringmethehorizon pic.twitter.com/dQzvRoc9nc— willoe? (@theactualfxck) December 1, 2018
Alexandra Palace have confirmed that one fan died at last night’s show. Reports of a second death are still being verified. There are eyewitness reports that another fan was left so brutally hurt in the moshpit and apparently “almost lost an entire ear.” Multiple fans are said to have sustained injuries according to a Twitter thread, whereas lots of phones are also believed to have been stolen or lost at the show.
UPDATE: The deceased’s name is reportedly Ali Mills, and we’re being told that he died from a heart attack.
Bring Me the Horizon has not yet commented on the situation. We will keep you updated on this story develops. We would like to send out our condolences to the families of those involved.
